You must answer that yourself. I will just point that there was no update in a year, update before that was very small and also took a long time. Those times Dev just add wallpapers, quick static shots of some characters and written stories.
The dev also seems to be diverting most of their creative energies towards spin-off stories rather than either of the two games:

I don't like one bit the way the dev is making their games, if you are going to start a game and you intend to finish it, don't start another. I know that sometimes it gets a little boring or repetitive to make content for only one game, but this is just frustanting.

I guess the autor as become more interrested in writting porn rather than making games out of it. Honestly don't blame him for it, the patreons was not getting too much support form what I recall and I remenber that when author started to focus on the broken whatch end waaaay back it got a lot of complains since, well you focus first on the non-hypnosis route on a game called hypnosis. Well, little finantial support+ lot of work with cooding and having to make the scenes+ lot of complains the guy probably got unmotivated, and writting novels is also way simpler and depending on how well you do people can also give you some money for it so well... don't blame him. Shame since it was one of the rare incrediby good hypnosis games.

Ashley will ask to be impregnated near the end of one of the broken watch paths, but we never confirm if we successfully knock her up.
Game is great, Leadies are sexy but why takes this much time for updates. There is always something wrong with a good game.
I wouldn't be surprised if the dev had Adhd or something that made it really hard for him to stay motivated.

the dev is developing two games at the same time(this one and Endowed), he is quite slow even with one game...but the two games thing, is to avoid ending up burned-out(his words) apparently...whatever that means...
at this point i cant help but think the dev's having too much fun milking patrons instead of making progress on the game

I'd wager that relatively few artists over the years have been neurotypical. Art is usually a haven for those of use who are neurologically atypical.
Why for the love of God is the scene of Leah (the main fucking girl of the game) losing her virginity at the end of chapter 6, a black fucking screen? This is literally incomprehensibly stupid. I legitimately can't think of a singular reason for why this would be the case, other than sheer laziness or stupidity. This is arguably the most significant scene in the fucking game and it's literally a black screen. What the fuck?
