Other than possible errors where it doesn't display, that's actually not true. Whenever you've increased a girl's lust (the points to which "not enough" refers), a +1 appears in the top corner of the screen (white text on a bright pink circle background). So unless there's a bug (like I said) or you are using some kind of mod (I have no idea what all different mods might exist for the game), you most definitely are notified when you get points.
Replay ep1 because it`s tricky. There are certain scenes that you need to nail 100%. Or start ep2 from new, you will have full stats... At the end of ep2 there will be stats score...Ep2 is more forgiving, you can have 8/10 correct. Ep3 you need 6/10
