Unity Completed I Am Not a Leader [v1.60] [Kegani Laboratory]

I have no idea what I did but every single kegani laboratory game I play now doesn't save as in:

yes I know it's not I Am Not a Leader but it did the exact same thing it's just the last game I tried.

I tried everything from redownload, both local and non, taken off read only both game and save, unhidden the save file, swich the language of the game, give it administration, haven't tried re-pacher but the thing is this game and the others worked just fine without it when i last played and no I did not play a older version of the game it is this one as will as the other games. The only thing I can think of is something have to do with unity or my computer but everyone seems to be working so it will be vary nice of you guys to tell us the once who already asked and most likely the silence once and didn't get a vary clear answer and pleas give us what you guys are doing to be able to save and load.

I will be reposting this everyday to make sure I don't get the same treatment as the others and no this is not spamming this is a reminder I'm not sending any links or files or products just two pictures and few words.

I mean, logically - just trace where your saves are stored. And then understand what seems to present problem to your system in accessing them.

Quite often the problem is just having weird letters like Cyrillic in your user name or folders, or having path being too long for computer to use it. Try creating a new user with a simple name like "user", place the game into something like "D:\susgames\" and then play the game.

it does save but I see that it is missing a lot of information which might be the reason why it's not loading but the thing is that I did absolutely nothing to my computer and it just start doing this:

I download it from GOFILE is this why?
what "information" do you need to figure it out? because I spend almost two weeks trying to make it work.

So my advice is redownload the game, run it in japanese locale, put the game folder somewhere with a short adress like ur desktop, make sure the folder name does not have japanese character, and the .exe is not "read only" in properties and/or run the game as admin.

the only rule I have seen is to not spam so I searched it up and says "excessive multiple posting, that is, the repeated posting of a message (or substantially similar messages)" what is considered "excessive" and what if it's not a similar message. and what if it's just a reminder.

I sure did i i said "switch system locale to japanese" and by that i ofc dont mean "use the locale emulator program".

And if GOFILE dl is giving u that issue you can try another. Ijust downloaded it from pixeldrain and works fine.

Also by looking at the error message above, it seems that u tried to run the game after applying either some cheat mod, or attempted to modify the game in some way. Or the version in that dl is modified in some way.

no cheat or modify just a "clean" game and save folder that's not saving right.

Unfortunally MOST games do require japanese system locale. Maybe you just been very lucky with what you been playing.

Like i Said it works for me can save, can load. Nothing else to know. Therefore the conclusion i can reach is thats a computer problem not game problem, expecially since you said it worked before.

PS: I also use winrar to extract the games and do so in japanese system locale to avoid file corruption.

It would be weird if his game saves worked, and then suddenly stopped, and he didn't notice that his system is just not in japanese locale, while it supposedly was before, since it worked and you say it's a requirement. So judging by what he said, something happened and then saves stopped working. Seemed like a problem with save pathfinding, but i don't see from the new screens how can it be.

Perhaps some stuff need to be installed on pc? Like updates, or libraries that are now missing. Or maybe some system options got changed, that restrict the game? Such as folder permissions on system disc, or system policies in general. Also it's worth checking what antivirus did, since it can just silently block and delete stuff in some cases.

Well, and here's Microsoft Visual stuff, for example. All of that is taken from Dark Hunter Kuro readme, i installed all of it and that game started working. You can try it. I'm out of ideas for anything else, other than creating a new user, as i said, and trying launching the game there. Didn't understand if you did it or not from the screenshots.

There may be a dll shortage.
In this case, you will need to install the following Microsoft Visual C++ package.
There are both x86 and x64 versions of the pack, so if your OS is 64-bit, please install both.

Nox gave you the other options you can do just now. If that doesnt work then nothing else will.

Final help i can give is uploading my own version of the game and then u see if it works. thought first make sure to erase anythign kegani labs related from appdata folder.(saves etc) and any other versions of the game u may have in ur pc:

Do make sure you extract the game in japanese system locale(changing it will require a restart of ur computer if u did it correctly and nowdays theres no reason to even change it back to non japanese system locale).
If you not sure how to do so exactly there are guides (its not just changing the computer language to japanese).

I was, I gave up on being able to play this game since no amount of reinstalling seemed to help. The oddest thing is that it would just randomly decide whether it wants to load saves or not instead of not letting me load them at all

If its not a game issue, which at this point we can see it isnt.
Only real chance is a OS issue, maybe its just blocking the game from writing into the save folder.
