The Story Behind MC’s Friendship with Danny
Everyone knows Danny. He’s the guy whose imagination runs wild, always ready for the next big adventure.
Danny has a special knack for seeing the “up” side of life. For Danny, the glass is never half-empty. It’s always half-full. And Danny being Danny has his own way of making everything exciting.

So, how did this friendship begin? Danny and MC have been best friends for as long as they can remember. They met back in kindergarten when their teacher sat them next to each other, probably hoping they’d behave better together. But they didn’t. Instead, the two boys became inseparable.
They helped each other through the tough times—like being grounded, failing big tests, not getting asked to the big dance, and those painful breakups.
But life, as it often does, had other plans. When MC’s parents divorced, he had to leave Wildflower with his mom. Sitting in the backseat, he watched the town grow smaller in the rearview mirror, his heart sinking with every mile. At the end of the driveway stood Danny, waving goodbye—his figure growing smaller and smaller until he disappeared completely. In that moment, it felt like their friendship is over.
But their bond was stronger than that, it was the kind of friendship that lasts a lifetime.
