I just played this for the first time and oftentimes the dialogues feel like there are renders missing.

Kinda simple things like the MC says "Hi" and the girl replying "Stop flattering me" which are just strange lol. Adding this on top of the mystery and not having the knowledge the mc has makes it too much.

Played this in one go and noticed things like these multiple times which honestly took me kinda out of the avn multiple times and if i would have to rate it would lead to it being below average while it could be an at least decent avn.

I appreciate your honesty and the effort to fix past mistakes. It’s good to see that you’re listening to feedback and making changes based on player concerns. That said, my hesitation comes from how drastically the previous game changed, which makes me uncertain about this one’s future direction.

I'm not played again, i read the comments and noticed that the sandbox wasn’t completely removed—there’s still a freeroam element. Compared to a normal VN, it feels tedious with all the extra clicking, which makes the gameplay less enjoyable. On top of that, hearing that the game’s ending is being rushed because of the sandbox is really disappointing. A well-paced, engaging story is what makes a VN enjoyable, and it’s sad to see that being affected.

I’ll keep an eye on updates, and if everything stays consistent, I’ll only consider playing if I see my preferences reflected.

Lastly, Thank you for taking the time to respond. You could have ignored my comment and moved on, but you still answered my questions. I appreciate that, and I hope the game turns out as you’ve envisioned in the future.

Yes, the current published version still has sandbox elements, but the upcoming update (once completed) will remove them.

Once you see the next update for Carnal, you’ll know it’s been removed—no sandbox and a different ending.

So is it adviseable to restart this from the beginning given the changes...or even wait until you have reimplemented the removed scenes to get a more cohesive understanding?

I’d suggest not waiting, as those two scenes (which I’ll be adding back) aren’t crucial to the main story. If you played Chapter 2, you’ve already seen them. They mainly provide extra insight into the characters. Since they’re short and don’t affect the storyline, you can continue without them.


However, I do recommend restarting from the beginning. With scenes I added into Chapters 1 and 2, the experience will feel different and more complete because of storyline.

For now, yes! Building the relationships between MC and the girls slowly was key to the story. But with the next update, I'll be adding the first full sex scene with one of the main girls.

Well...did restart and while I personally enjoy a disjointed story and not being given all the answers/information, I do think you succeeded in your aim. it does flow better now and it does all make a little more sense. A little too much in places, I still think some of the new exposition wasn't needed but then I'm most likely not your core audience so I get why you did. Either way, it is better all round for it.

Loved the use of Latin also btw, very purposeful. Definite improvement on the Lisa driving scene with the painting. Always wondered about that, excellent job all round with the extras really, a cracking update.

Part of the expanded and extrapolated content that has been put into the first two chapters. You really should start a new save from the start to understand what was always happening, but was not actually shown.

In a game, I think I prefer to find out little by little, as if I were in the protagonist's head, but how do you tell your work well in this way? Do you reveal everything in the end? Or do you show things in a future Newgame+ that very few people start with?

Well like I said before PL, personally I like disjointed stories but I do thinnk the extra content does flesh out the story a lot more and is overall a good thing and makes it much better. Sure as I said, some of the newer stuff I don't think was 'needed'...but yeah overall I do like it a lot more and it's not quite as much wtf is going on as it was before.

The cut scenes (2 iirc) are really not missed and at the point where they were originally included...while they didn't seem altogether out of place, are certainly not missed at all now. Overall Dotty has made it a huge improvement, in my opinion.

I don't think that's her home. I think of her as a supernatural being that just appears and has to look sexy so that we as players fall into her clutches .
