Has anyone been had the issue of the game crashing whenever it tries to load one of the movies? The only fix I've found so far is to remove the movies folder and force the game to skip over them. Spend hours searching online for a fix and I can't find anyone with a similar issue, nevermind a solution. I feel like there is an error loading things out of the folder.

I haven't found or heard anything like this, even searching online for this type of problem seems to lead to nothing, does the error have a specific name or number?

Nope, nothing. Just goes to load any of the files in the movies folder (except for the cursor) and crashes out. I was originally having the common issue of the game not launching at all and found in this thread that deleting the logo file from the movies folder fixed that. Which lead me to try the same thing for the video files when it crashed and the game would resume normally while skipping the movie.

I have also tried dling the game from multiple sources just to confirm the file structure is the same too, no difference.

I'm sorry then, the only thing I can say that you can do, is to uninstall everything related to the game and then downloading it again, maybe its a strange corruption file error from when you downloaded the game

It's possible there's some issue with my PC specifically but who knows. Hopefully one day someone figures out a fix but I'm almost done the game now and have just been playing the scenes in a video player on another monitor when appropriate lol.
