I know this site isn't exactly moral police material for this type of business, but the mods demanding a few answers from the person who made this obvious quick cash grab would do the OG artist, and others like him, a huge favor. Not only the artist, their supporters too helping them spend their money on the right person, not some desperate scammer impersonating them.:WeSmart:

The part of my post you quoted there was obviously just a simple suggestion meant to help Casgra, not something the mods were forced to have to do if they don't want to.

I did say (later) that there are advantages here, and I know there is no way to correct the issue (greed, a human instinct), and I'm not perfect by any means.

There are negative by-products of this system: One being the fucking entitlement that comes along when you are given something (constantly) without having to earn it.
There are pluses, as you mentioned, also.
I guess the good with the bad. Yin and Yang, Black and White, Batman and the Joker. ;)

We have recycled ideas and copy paste stories, but now stealing art on top of that... Supporting creators has become difficult because when there are new quality stories, not many are interested in supporting either because it's vanilla romance or because the dev might be a milker.

Yeah, this site makes money from ad revenue. How are advertisers attached to this site? The site is popular because the content is free to the consumer. It doesn't matter that the majority of the content is stolen. So the site makes money, the advertisers profit from selling their product, and the lowly creator is robbed. Sounds fair. :FacePalm:

I appreciate where you're coming from on this topic. However, F95Zone is and continues to be helpful to many creators and artists, especially new VN creators trying to build up their fan base. There's a lot of benefits of being on F95Zone when it comes to VN Games and 3D art works and more, and it has been very helpful to them. I discovered many fun, hot and entertaining VNs through F95Zone, and support many on Patreon. Despite the fact that F95Zone is considered a "pirate" site, it also helps creators a lot, and I don't mind giving some support to F95Zone for sharing some fun and hot entertainment. But on the topic about anyone using another creator's work without any relationship, disclosure or mention is definitely a red flag and F95Zone should take action against any fake fraudsters that fail to acknowledge the original creator and their works.

Heck, there are many Dev/Creators that re-create existing VNs and 3D art and still give credit and list the links to the original creator to show appreciation as a fan or they simply have a working relationship with them. One of the good things I noticed about F95Zone is that they always mention the Dev/Creator and ask visitors to support them if they like their works, and that is always appreciated and does a lot of good overall in the community to promote them. People like free stuff, I get it. But we have to realize that by supporting these artists and creators that make such fun entertainment, content and VNs, we get to see their works more frequently and it's a win-win for everyone. So, my motto is always give support to creators and artists that create things you enjoy, whenever you can, especially if you enjoy it.

Either way, I still think F95Zone should look into this and take action if necessary. Sharing content is one thing, but outright stealing is not right or acceptable. If this VN is legit, then the dev or person behind it should make it known to everyone. Just sharing my thoughts on this subject. Cheers, friend.

I agree with some of your comments, but isn't F95 also stealing? They condone the "leaking" of content and have staff that scour the internet for content to bring here. Sure, they may pay a couple of bucks on Icho.io for a game or support some devs on Patreon, but that's pocket change to this site and a write-off when tax time comes around. :WeSmart:

But, as I've said already, F95 has its benefits. A lot of good has come out of it.

This is a murky, grey area of ethics and ethical behavior, but greed almost always wins.

I agree. It is a grey area, but then again so is the society and the hypocritical rules we humans created and continue to create. I still think there are more positive benefits for Devs/Creators and Artists on F95Zone than negative. It's definitely a catch 22, but when it comes to anyone outright stealing another creator's work without any legal authority, permission, reference, reason or notice of any kind, I believe that should be addressed by this platform or any platform for that matter. It would also be good for any platform, mainly F95Zone, to keep the fake, misleading fraudsters out of the community and off their platforms. Cheers!
