So does anyone have translations of what the personalities are? I see we have them all listed on the illusion site with voice samples but I sadly can't read JP and haven't seen anyone mention what they're called.

I'd like to start brain storming characters since the girls made in the AIS creator will be transferable but I like to have personalities in mind while designing.

If it is just a scene selector like its predecessor, 'HS2ibido' will be just mediocre as a game. Doesn't matter the amount of positions.
I prefer being that way, certainly better that Loading Screen Simulator <insert year here> that is Artificial Academy were you spend FAR too much time grinding to unlock the very BORING poses with characters that have the personality of a cardboard.

I rather they focus on what people actually play those game for instead of trying to make some type "gameplay" that will be shallow and detracting of what people play those games for, as pretty the character creator is there is nothing to do with then after the fact besides some mediocre gameplay, remember Sexy Beach Premium Resort? Because I do as well their most recent "gameplay" game, AI Girl.

Illusion Site is Updated just now and they show tons of H-positions (151 or so?).

And their concept page says they are still making new positions . So hopefully the number will increase even more until release.

I think it's their business strategy to release 2types of the games. Sex oriented games for Illusion (or adult game) fans to keep their core userbase. And more gameplay oriented games to get new users (or normal game fans) to expand the userbase. They always borrow trending game elements at the time, like fighting, rpg, openworld, AI or crafting, for the gameplay oriented ones. But that's just to draw attention of the newusers and therefor the gameplay is usually shallow and mediocre at best. And obviously this strategy works for decades as Illusion is still there.

I don't know if it works like you say, I think the people buying illusion game are mostly the same gameplay or not. It's not like they release a game every month, it's one game every 6 or more months.

As for gameplay in itself it could enhance the game if it was well done which isn't the case since it's half assed everytime.

I am sorry but no.

You are asking then to make at the same time Hentai games and not Hentai games, even if there are some games that get re-released without the pornos, companies stick to what they are good at instead of "diversity" as what you end up is a mediocre studio as nobody have any experience in any gender.

This is a niche market and even if Illusion is now releasing on Steam its still going to be a niche market, Illusion strength been character creation and customization as well interactive scenes as yes, the gameplay been mediocre but then again people arent going to buy these games because of gameplay, it have to be serviceable and that is why you call it mediocre but to me thats not a problem, I am not going to play this games as if I wanted to play Total War then I would play Total War, not Total War with a few sex scenes.

Thats why I prefer Honey Select since its entirely functional as well their other titles that have simple and easy to understand mechanics instead of boringtrons like Artificial Academy were you spend so much time doing boring grinding without much of a reward, I also will say when it comes to "gameplay" it usually negatively affects the sex part with limited positions to the point its bad in all aspects, Honey Select might be "simple" but at least its focus on what matters instead of trying to be a "game" even if it is a game.

Great news.

But still looks pretty much like Honey Select 1 other than more positions, more personalities and better graphics.

How about lactation/milking? Womb view when creampie? More characters' facial animations during H scenes? Should be more of these kind of new additions in a sequel.

The lack of FFM or even FFFM is very also concerning. MMF isn't my thing but whatever, just don't abandon FFM though. My dude needs those double tittyjobs.

I am also worried about lack of FFM. The sex positions they showed do not impress me either, lack of buttjobs, male lead titfuck, male rimjob etc. I listen to the voice samples on their website and must say that for me they sound very artifical and forced, and this is first time when i have this feeling and i played all of their games starting from Artifical Girl 3.
One more thing that i do not like in their recent games are massive focus on Studio. It is like they give you barebones game, and you are forced to use studio to try create scenes with positions they are not in the game etc. Emotion Creators is best example of this and a massive flop.

If they allowed us to create animations in studio and import them into the game like in TK17, I wouldn't care if they added no animations, I'd buy the game and do it myself.

Yeah, a bad and grindy gameplay can be worse than nothing at all. But I actually enjoyed SBPR, AIS and Koikatsu more than Honey select and Playclub; I guess that's because if I wanted a position picker I'd be on pornbub

people arent going to buy these games because of gameplay
They are. Some examples: Games from: Alice soft and Eushully; SoldGirl Town; Pricia TD

Come on... I'm not asking for a masterpiece. But just something (anything) besides the sex positions.

You have Utawarerumono that is very good but the story is very good as the gameplay is serviceable, it works good enough but overall its not why I liked the game. Didnt like Tears to Tiara ... and I hated Kamidori Alchemy Meister.

But Illusion doesnt really do story, they tried but their real strength been customization ... not story, not gameplay but customization and yes, I prefer it have a wider number of sexual positions because why do you want to remove the sex part of the game until its a bog standard "game", what makes then different is they make actual hentai games and not games with some sexual content.

I like when Illusion does games like Honey Select, I dont like when they try to make posers or "games", if I could just use PornHub then I ask why dont you just use Steam for your gameplay.

Yeah not a lot of new animations it seems, they didn't even had the playhome animations. And I feel the same for the voices, a lot of them don't sound good both on variety and acting.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty optimistic about this. It looks like the base game is going to come with more fantasy stuff, better water effects, and better semen effects. I don't know if that justifies the price tag, but I can't pay for any of this crap anyways. What I really want to know is what the system requirements are and if stuff from HS1 will work with it. I just got a new computer so I could play HS1 without having my computer heat up like a nuclear fuel rod, so I'm kinda worried that the new game might not work it.

What do you mean "stuff from HS1"? The cards don't work anymore and as for the mods they will need to be fixed to work for HS2 (mods from AI-Shoujo since it's the same engine, not HS1). As for the requirements the minimum is I3 4000, 4go RAM and GeForce 700 / RADEON R-200 and the recommended is i5 4000, 8go RAM and and GPU with 4go of Vram.

It's probably never going to happen, but instead of creating a game themselves, I think an Illusion title that allowed people to author fairly simple 3D interactable scenes would be a big hit. This is one of the primary uses for the StudioNEO software anyway, and it would just cut out the middle man of then putting that into Renpy / RPGM / whatever.

I was mostly concerned with being able to transfer over cards and scenes, but I guess that's off the table now. Thank you for filling me in on the requirements.

Edit: I have a laptop with 8 GB of RAM, an Ryzen R5-3500 CPU, and a Radeon Vega 8 graphics card. I'm having trouble comparing what I have with what you just said. Am I going to be able to run this when it comes out?

I agree, but as long as HS2 has a good studio mode I'll be happy.

You can download AI-Shoujo and start working on cards since they're compatible with HS2. As for your latop yes it should be able to run but the GPU is kind of weak, you won't play on high quality settings I guess.

I don't care about story and I dont like 2D games. And there are no steam games that match illusions quality.

Illusion should stick with free roam games like SBPR, Koikatsu, AIS, etc. And just forget this nonsense grindy gameplay and focus on the 'dating sim' aspect. Or maybe try something like 'Yuusha kara wa nigerarenai' again.

I understand you want a different thing. But, please, could you just respect my opinion instead of telling me what to do?

Yeah! Like Skyrim Mod support made the game survive for over a decade.
