The immediate improvement would come from increasing the resolution of your render by 5x and then downscaling it. Try that. You can change render resolution via F1, search for screenshots.

do you think these settings are for high end computers? i came across them while browsing this site and applied them, but after 6.5 minutes of waiting the computer gave a blue screen error. my computer is not very good. for now it is not important for me to improve the render quality. anyway i need to buy a new computer before i make my game. just curious.

After a few characters in a single scene, you have to use the "Monocolor" option to add more. Because after a certain point, your PC will begin to stutter until it becomes unusable.
I was able to use some photoshop trickery to make a scene with many characters like this one:
I think 8 characters onscreen is probably my systems limit. Is there another way around this limitation?

That's extreme. By setting upsampling to 3 you are basically asking for the screenshot to be:
3 x 2160 = 6480
3 x 3840 = 11520
So, to start go with 720x640 and upscampling of 2. Also, decrease shadow resolution to lowest possible. Then, if it renders, start increasing values from there.

Hi. I've been searching for a while now, but couldn't find an answer. Maybe i'm just dumb and the solution is obvious but i'm barely starting to try Studio Neo.
So i made outfits in Char Maker and everything works just fine but modded clothes don't appear when i load them in Studio.
Also Studio doesn't load anything in the coordinates tab while my folders are filled with outfits.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have this part that should be in the lower left corner. I don't know how I turned it off, I don't know how to turn it on. it doesn't show up even though I select my character in the workspace.
edit: You have to press "move". I feel like an idiot.

I have the same folder. Can't remember where from though. As far as I know it's just to show naming convention for when you want to tweak the expressions yourself. The file name corresponds to the name on the blend shapes menus. The images are visual examples of what the name affects.

Hey guys, is there any way to find out what item (tops, bottoms, hairstyle, etc.) is currently equipped on your character? Like pressing a button that shows the current item (the one with the yellow border) in the menu. I think I remember doing that in the past, don't know how though.

I didn't install the 80 gb mods file because I didn't have enough space on my computer. I just wanted to create some scenes but I guess I made a mistake. throwing it into the optional mods file didn't work either.

For what it is worth you can create maps by yourself using components that are already in the studio. There are cons and pros to this approach. Major "pro" is that all your maps start having the same feel to them. And, of course, these maps do not take up additional disk space.

Naturally, you can start using components that folks already created - bathrooms, living rooms, various spaces, etc., and then use these as lego pieces to assemble your own maps.

If its a studio scene .png file it would go in UserData\Studio\scene. Other than that I'm not sure what the problem is. If it's a studio scene with a map you don't have, you'll get an error and have to hunt down the specific map somewhere.
In character maker, click the little arrow icon in the display menu. Like if you've opened "tops" then in the top of that menu (where it shows the pics for each item) there's a little arrow icon. Click it. Will send you to whatever is on the character at that moment.
Been meaning to ask for a while now but keep forgetting to, does anyone know how to get Hooh's old "Cock 01" series to work with the later BR versions?
I still see scenes being uploaded with it but it's never worked on my versions of studio and I always end up having to change it it to the "dick" series.
To clarify, the color options don't work on any of the cock 01's. Just solid black shadow looking thing no matter what I do. Figure it has to be a setting somewhere that I'm not activating but I can't think what it might be.

Hello, I have a question regarding timeline and animation (those premade animations that comes from vanilla or mods in particular)
So I noticed there are couple tabs controlling animations in timeline plugin: current animation, time, speed, pattern, those stuffs.
What I was trying to do is make a character A using “Catwalk forward” at second 0-2, and then “Catwalk turn Right” at second 2-4.
I used “set current value” on both keyframe after changing animation, but character A just repeats the same animation twice.
so It seems like a character can only have 1 animation state at the same time? I tried using single file as well (since it says it also saves the animation the character currently have) but it seems to only bug the character into some random animations.
what did I do wrong? Many Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys, I downloaded the Optional Sideloader Modpack all 70 parts but when I try to unzip I get an erro that the part 1 is damaged. Has someone a working part 1 for me?
Would anyone know how to hide the ears so I could use animal ones instead? It looks strange to have 2 sets of ears showing.
