Hi there, I've been trying to improve my lighting skills by recreating a scene from Eternum but it did not go well..

My render looks so bad next to the model and I don't know how to enhance the quality of my image.
The reaction from the skin with the light looks so much better in the second image, there is red, orange and yellow nuances on the skin and it looks like he only used 1 directional light to create that.
The skin looks smoother and warmer on the second image and the shadows are sharper plus the whole scene looks more colorful. I've tested a lot of different preset but nothing change this bland aspect on my scene, even after twinkle it a little.
I'm a newbie in lighting, especially in outdoor scenes. I really need advices to get closer to the second image look. It's the only piece I miss before starting my AVN.
If that can help, I use Graphicsmod 1.6 and NXTG textures.
