lucked out, downloaded, played, and deleted on the 19th. ive had close calls with 2 games in the past week. think im gonna just bookmark games and let em sit for a week before i download from now on. unfortunately cant trust the files posted here at the moment

Better than the mobile AI slop games for sure, but not by much. This one's gameplay is just horrible though and worthy of the bad reviews.

This Dev can 100% make a decent game, chooses not to and makes a sloppy games like this non stop. Clearly good renders, fun sounding premise and terrible execution of the game.

Yes there is. The Malware Spreader started with Renpy, then Unity came in the mix and now it's RPGM also.

The Malware Spreader edited files. The files that got edited have a Timer. When you open a Game Exe, the infected files steals your informations.
Like Paying informations and such. The Spreader use inactive f95zone Accounts, he hacked them.

No, you have to run the executable file to start the infection. If you had just downloaded, you are safe.

I download a copy on the 19th 2:15pm, ran it, had no issues,my Bitdefender did raise any flags, just scanned the extracted files again with Bitdefender, came back clean, and currently running a full scan

if your antivirus caught it and stopped it from running, you should be safe
but I would run a full scan to be safe

So I ran the game at 23:14 on the 19th played for a few minutes and decided it was bad and then deleted the next day, So far a full scan with my Norton has turned up nothing and i don't have the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\MySupergame" From what i've read im safe? as the code did not execute as it was not the 20th? or am i mis-reading how the virus worked

Also i think i downloaded the game quite late on maybe 23:00 were the infected links already gone by then and its possible i downloaded a non-infected version?

malware doesn't work on a time limit, once you download a file/game with malware, it will run no matter when you execute the file or game, you could download it on the 19th, run it 30 days later and your system will still be infected

and for me, I probably got lucky, as I downloaded it 3 minute before it apparently got infected

The game was infected with a LummaStealer. The Infected files where public from 2025-08-19 T02:18 PM - 2025-08-20 T05:43 PM (GMT).
