Who said anything about love? I said obsession, or maybe possessive would be a better word for it. You can be possessive of someone and not be in love with them, romantically. Since Elin seemingly has always felt that Elis is hers. Even as a child when Elis was first exiled.

Honestly, Elin doesn't pull on the proud title of "Yandere". Her character is revealed very well in the scene after you choose to give her a ring. In this scene, it is shown that Elin is soft-bodied. She says in plain text: "I'm just too weak to reason and act like you." This is not Yandere's behavior. Rather, in this scene, the protagonist himself is Yandere.

In general, if we started assigning "archetypes" to characters, then they are obviously Cersei and Jaime. Except Jaime is Elin, and Cersei is Elis. You can see for yourself that Elis is spoiled, hungry for power, lustful, and desires his sister. Elin is actually a classic good girl-type, but she has feelings for her brother, unlike Elis, her feelings are more romantic, but due to the fact that Elin is not as strong-willed and poisonous as Elis, she falls under his influence and begins to deteriorate. And Elis starts using her feelings and starts manipulating her, even completely controlling her. This is literally Cersei and Jaime's relationship.

And the sight of Elin corrupting is just amazing! Her nature is easy to understand, she wanted to be a sweet, good elf princess, but alas, she also has a desire for her brother, which puts her in a situation where to get what she wants, she has to do what she doesn't want. She succumbs to the bad influence of Elis.
She doesn't like lying, but she does it for the sake of Elis.
She doesn't want to rush into sex, but she gives up in front of Elis with tears in her eyes.
She betrays some of her desires for the sake of her other desires.
And the tears that come out of it, these emotions - they're great!
That's why she's my favorite waifu in this game. I hope to continue her corruption in the future in order to make her a chain magician killer. Order her to incinerate those who are objectionable to the throne, whispering in her ear, "...you will do this for your brother, won't you?" mmm gooood

It's a great job with the character. The developer did very well.

I like the character examination... but it's only valid for Elin on her Lust route; it's there that Elis is possessive of Elin and takes advantage of her feelings for him to extort sexual favors.

On the Love path, though, he genuinely seems to reciprocate her feelings, and treats her kindly. Though, he still understands that they can basically never reveal their relationship to ANYONE else.

Considering what Elin proposed to do to our wife, I dread to think what she'll do if we keep our promise to Cass.

Yeah, Elin is extremely possessive of MC, but she also caves in to whatever MC asks of her - there’s a good chance she would just accept a threesome with Cass if MC explained the situation. Not sure if she wouldn’t still go nuclear if MC gets Cass pregnant, as I imagine Cass would rub that in her face.

I'm more of a chaotic neutral person when comes to these things, kind of like dr.doom (he does bad things but in the universes/timelines where he rules everything its a perfect utopia) or like black Adam (the good version aka - the comics/animated version not the lame the rock version) who doesn't care about morals or what's happening to the neighboring kingdom along as my domain thrives. if i want to go that route should i stick with Cass, considering hat she does to your father, and how she act just in general i feel like she's either a liability or a Loki of sorts ( the Thor 1 & avengers 1 version that always back stabs and scheming)

"extort sexual favors" these words don't seem completely correct to me, after all, Elin wants sex herself, but the fact is that her nature is more romantic and accordingly she wants it to happen under smoother circumstances. All Elis does is just shorten the timings, revealing her lust.

Elin understands that she is being corrupted, but because of her more humanistic worldview compared to her brother or Cass, she accepts this but with some sadness, but not as something bad, because she sincerely wants it.

And her tears are not something bad either, it's just her sign of acceptance of the personal changes happening to her. And the tears themselves are there because of her weakness, which she herself admits bluntly.

Therefore, I would not call the root of possessiveness/corruption something bad, because Elin herself gets exactly what she wants, but does not have enough will and determination to take like a real Yandere.
It's just her softness, but if there's no backbone in her back, then it can be replaced by a cock of someone she loves with all her heart)

You can only go so far comparing MCU heroes to porn tropes and vice versa. I guess you can allow Cass to go wild, just don't sub to her and put her in her place. Stopping and fixing her seems to righteous and goody two shoes for an edgelord like you.

Elin: She will never do something that MC doesn't allow, since the game is a power fantasy. So she may only hurt his other wives if he explicitly tells her to, like with Isis ordering to kill Cass.
