What I find incredible is not taking any advantage of different worlds, no weapons, no potion recipes, not even a mere vegetable peeler or a simple bottle of drink...
and Elin from the modern world, faced with another where the world had a nuclear war, not asking for any details is very strange in my opinion.

Sure, the problem is, the alternative world stuff is only on the mage path.
So if they suddenly return with assault rifles and rocket launchers it would affect many more scenes.
Also you would need expand the whole alternate story part even more if you want more lore and it's not like we have the time to actually explore any of these worlds, groups, characters, which makes it kinda pointless.

It's not like i'm against a story about travelling to other worlds/realities, but as the main theme of the story, with plenty of time to built lore, characters, explore etc. not like this.
Here it just feels disconected to the rest of the story and other characters, there's no time to actually develop either these worlds, nor the characters and it has no influence on anything else in the story.

And in the other paths where he doesn't go to the multiverse, it doesn't have to be exactly exclusive, Elin could gift him with the same item in some way, claiming that she got it while training her magic...
short, without impact of ramifications, and would bring a greater meaning to the multiverse...

That's why I mentioned that it wouldn't bring immediate changes, until he dismantled the study and managed to replicate it, it would take a long time... he also doesn't know who to trust... It's not that simple to create a weapon with medieval blacksmithing, the chinese novel, release that witch, raises this question... maybe the power used in bombs would make it have a faster impact... but that's him throwing away his trump card for a chance at success...

Reading the thread drives forward how sprawling the game is. Half the time I'm like... wtf y'all talking about?

I got the green coronation. Cass is capable and right, it was time to remove the rotting carcass of a man from the throne. No one got arrested. Hoping I can pardon Priscilla or help her escape. Already earned her son's eternal loyalty for merely trying. Everyone is alive and ready for empire building, no drama. Can't stop collecting W after W.

Didn't get to eat mom out though, not sure what path that was on. Oh well, maybe in the future.

Honestly i just don't particular care about such vague prophecies...even more so if we get different tales from different sources.
These who have similar goals and loyal are welcome, the shemers who work against the MC will lose their heads, be it short or long term...

The thing is, the 3 snakes could be nearly everyone, neither we nor the MC knows much about the court, nobels, advisers etc. be it their characters, backgrounds or goals. I doubt one of the snakes is the mother thought, Alaina is far more likely with the reveals of the latest chapter, of course we could see next ep the mother sheming or a completely new character...or we maybe can replace a snake, like killing Cass and Isis taking her place, maybe we didn't even meet all 3 and so far the court seems full of shemers and snakes...i just find it kind of pointless to worry about the prophesy, didn't help the father much either...

Nice point of view. As you said, prophecies didn’t help the father, and they probably don’t serve the son much better. Anyone can be a snake, but some are loyal, or at least you can force them to be loyal. So, we could say not everyone is a snake, after all. I also don’t think we should be excessively loyal to the Golden Order, but when I think about it, I can’t seem to find any other middle ground in this mess.
So, I believe, like you, that keeping the Golden Order as it is and making it better under our rule is the better path.

Damn, I overanalyzed total two sentence prophecies so much that I fuckin' hate myself. This is the approach I am taking from now on.

Because it hardly contributes to the main plot, and it eats up a LOT of renders otherwise. The relationship with Lia has progressed far ahead of the relationship between MC and Elin or the Queen, which is baffling considering we are supposed to be closer to them (spent more time with) than with Lia - who is probably now carrying our bastard.

No, she's a quarter elf, showing some elven features (like the pointed ears), so it stands to reason that Aurora's daughter also has elven ears.
