This may be only be because the dev has decided to unfold her story first. It has already been said that the game will not end on 1.0 so most of the story hasn’t been told yet.

In the last update we got some of Queen Mother’s (Seraphina) backstory, the whole elven plot has started to come into the spotlight. Now we’ll see how she acts and even what Elin does when war breaks out.

Agency doesn’t just mean take over a kingdom. It can also mean working to help the side you align yourself with. Would you say Varys and Littlefinger had no agency? Only Joffrey did?

I didn't watch Game of Thrones past the pilot. The writing was too pretentious and edgy. I was told there was porn in it, but it was so laughable, couldn't fap at all.

I have actually tried that route, but it doesn't change the fact that her coup is still doomed. She has no legitimacy and no lords support her (except when their children are threatened), that's why she still keeps the MC alive and tries to bend him to her will. Even if the MC didn't escape, Leonard would eventually storm the castle, and that would be the end of Cass.

Elin is maybe the only one that fits that bill. The Queen Mother has been working her angle since before the MC returned; however, we are only now starting to delve deeper into that whole mess.

Her mother's family is by her admission penniless and without any real power. I'm pretty sure even Conrad has more legitimacy than Cass.

The council doesn't matter if half the country is against you. She has no active support from outside the capital; many lords are either indifferent or in fear of her hurting their children (who she keeps as hostages), and many others want her head. Her entire half-assed attempt at a coup depends on dangling the MC in front of everybody as she steers the ship of state in secret. If he refuses everything falls apart.

And yes the council does matter and no the country being against you doesnt matter either. Commoners don't care who is in charge most of the time, they just don't. The only time anyone ever cares is if you tax them more or start a war that negatively effects them in some way. To the average person nobody cares. Indifference is what matters, as long as people are indifferent they're not going to care whether Cass takes charge or not.

Like it or not even without the Mc Cass still has half the ruling nobility under her thumb.

Green route= side with Cass. Red route= take part in the coup then backstab Cass. White route don't take part in the coup, then overthrow Cass after a tiny civil war

I do not think Alaina will be a main love interest, even in a ´´elf supremacist`` path.
Alaina will much problably die or became a sex slave, such as Val at a anti elf path, or she will become a side chick at a elf path and the main love interest will problably be Queen Mommy or perhaps Elin. Big incest as twincest or monson will make total sense at a elf supremacist path. Alaina IMO will have, in regards of love interest of course, the same path as Val, Aunt, Cousin and etc...

Considering Lazy Monkey last work, i think it almost certain that will be such a thing later in the game.

BTW, Does someone has made a theory about elf cousin also being a sister? I mean, the fact that she has equal hair as MC clearly opens a window for that. She could be a child outside wedlock beetween Elf Aunt and the King or perhaps even be the child beetween aunt and the prince that was accused of murdering the last emperor and was throwed into prison by the king. In last case she would be a two times cousin, and in the first one a sister-cousin. Which take us to the question; if you had a child with you sister-cousin who your children would be to you? A son? A nephew? A cousin-nephew-son? So much to think...

This game is not anxiety-friendly.

I spent my time sticking my dick in crazy, squinting hard at my decisions hoping for a third way out, and prayed so hard for a chance to fix these crazy scheming women that I should be named Bob the Builder's favourite prophet.

I-can-fix-her is a terrible motto to live by, but hey i'm a hopeless romantic ( and who wouldn't just swoon at the sight of Cass... or the mom, or any sister really... can't fix any of the family feuds through a general making out session tho.... too bad )

The plot is really hooking, and the art/design/music is very good... but the intrigue is hard to follow, I get lost too easily, especially between updates. Even with the very welcomed chapter recaps. Sometimes it just feels less confusing starting over the game. Maybe a little track panel of our decisions would help with that, as well as one recapping characters and what we know about them.
I hope some characters make appearances in different playthrough too ! I miss the sexy vampire, she only appears with the "supporting the coup from the beginning" route, and i blundered away the route with the elf thief from the beginning like an idiot.
I won't be the most whiny one tho, this game plays out like a sexy Game of Thrones, and there seems to be hope for correcting one's course, should the player make mistakes.

I'm a little softie though, I pick Aurora as my wife, and I hope the voice of the softies gets carried through and reaches the dev. I still hope you can thread the needle in this game, and not break too many eggs. Because I've been barely restraining the sleeping around...

What does the warrior path get? I thought the mage stuff with multiple Elins and the portals was pretty cool but I have too much adhd to fastforward through a second playthrough.

I like the game a lot. I hope we get more opportunities to support the elves. I wish we could give them the west instead of the republic.

Also, another villager's wife scene that takes place right after MC fucks the villager's daughter in 0.7. If you're a warrior, you get the option to demand to fuck the wife, too.

I'm sure Aurora will get the attention you want her to have, it's just right now she isn't exactly capable of doing anything plotwise. But she'll definitely have an important role to play in the North arc if there is one (I'm sure there will be)

No, warrior path is ideal in this instance because you can control your stance towards Isis much more than the other two paths by comparison. Because warrior can activate the most flags there. And if you don't want that, then just ignore those flags.
