Got back to the playthrough grind. Had to do a double take when I saw pregnant Val again. That pregnancy buff did something crazy for her. Jeez, I didn't notice it at first but that's one hell of a growth. Now it has me curious if the buff is permanent for elves. Especially when I look at how Queen developed.

yeah and if you want to see all of the scenes gonna take more than 1 save I was finishing up some of my content saves saw a scene with her I didn't see before. Tho id say this game is more about the story than the incest so gonna take a bit to see it

Took a break for a few days going back to finish the rest of my saves up. Just to see any branching I might of missed and finally lock in my choices for those saves for the next update. I finally saw the Cass Execution that scene is so sad for me compared to the other ways she can die. id go as far to say that scene is sadder than alot of stuff ive seen in AVN's or other tv shows / movies.

I only killed her on 3 of my 12 saves. Just to see the differences. But Cass is my favorite , fixed Cass is best Cass imo

Yea but the love route sucks compared to the corruption route.

I actually like the love route more I don't care for the corruption route or whatever tho that kind of goes for all the LI not just the mother. But I find I dislike the mother's corruption path the most , I only like 1 scene of the corruption path once you return from the West. However that isn't saying much I kind of dislike the entire path for the mother until you go West to begin with. The only difference for me is once the Love path starts when you agree in the elven ruins when out west I like every part of it from that point onward , while the corruption path only liked 1 scene when you return home.

The scene was nice but the whole thing is a mess (and I love it since there is no black and white)
- Green Empire - team up with Cass for romance but politics essentially now revolves in you attempting to control the puppeteer or get controlled . I am not sure about the impact that brings to the rest of the family members.
- Red Empire - team up with Isis to bring forth the second coming of the red emperor
- Golden Order (Version A: you team up with a bannerlord to attempt to rescue your family and get the capital under control in exchange for some political power (You lose Aker and Cass - can kill or show mercy). Version B: Kill Cass and you bring peaceful transition of power and continue the status quo instead you are being guided by your mother and the elfs potentially).

PS: I am still not onboard with sympathizing with the elves due to bringing soothsayers that brought about the MC's exile or to kill him (none of this transpired due to cass), and Aliana's visit to cass in prison to share some "secret" knowledge that led to those actions.

Green Empire is by far the best path. There's a reason the dev has been giving dom and sub points for her because there potential there for her to become your biggest ally and while she starts out as a controlling monster she has her reasons for it, hell her family treated her as 2nd class trash so i really can't muster up any love for them outside elin so mom automatically goes into the corruption category for me.

I really dont get why people like the mothers character. Sure shes hot and all but just seeing the way they talked about Cass at the dinner table with her specifically saying something like "why would we invite her, shes not apart of the family" was kinda deal breaking.

The corruption mom route is great because shes a side piece at best.

100 % agree there the moment she said that about Cass was when she went to the bottom of my list I only play her path just to see it she is a content LI for me. I have trouble even understanding or seeing her pov about the spying and some other stuff when it comes to the MC after that. It took me up until the latest update to even trust her only because she helps against Alaina I am able to trust her again. That one line of dialogue kind of tainted her for me.

Only the Love Path I somewhat find her likeable but not enough to forget or forgive her for how she treats Cass.

And yes, she's not a member of the current royal family, but that doesn't make her better or worse, it's just a fact. It becomes clear from the last episode that the Queen knew Regis had been replaced by his brother. Cass is a member of the royal dynasty, but not the ruling family.

For me that kind of makes it worst that she treated Cass that way. As growing up the MC and Cass treated each other like brother and sister ( family) I believe Elin and Lia too. I don't think Cass even knows the truth. While I understand why she would never tell them the truth it kind of makes her seem more cold to do so , would be more understandable if they knew that bit of info. But for the kids to believe a lie like that and to come home to say she isn't family makes her seem unlikeable to me.

Cass doesn't know the truth; she was manipulated just like her mother. Of all the family members who know the truth at the moment, it's Seraphina and Mc. And the king, but no one cares about him

Seraphina's statements are understandable: For nobles and ruling families, blood is the most important thing, and from Seraphina's perspective, Cass is nothing to her. It doesn't matter whether she's Elis's sister or cousin. We may not like it, but life is complicated.
