Yeah I think the reason, you don't visit the house is because the wife and the daughter got taken. Now I am wondering what happened to the first innkeeper's wife and spring since you technically can get them pregnant as well.

Yeah Alaina clue helps out a lot, but the thing is why Sera was forced to marry instead of Celestine? Knowing that he already has half elves with Celes.

Final point, I think the elves are doing something by propping up bastards if you do something that they don't approve.
The fact they took that girl (and I think they take the wife too if you fuck her?) made me wonder if the elves also took away the other one off random pregnancies, like Spring or that wife that Elis fucks 30 seconds or so into the story.

I followed the warrior path with Elis, sleeping with both women, but only the daughter, who was said to be pregnant, was taken by these elves. I don’t know why they did it. Were they acting on Alaina’s orders? That seems likely, but for what purpose?

A few possibilities come to mind. Maybe they want to get rid of or protect Elis’s potential bastards. If the unborn are twins and carry this Reflection curse, they could be very important, a valuable asset for the elves’ plans. It might be a backup plan or some kind of insurance for the future.

Is this an attempt to keep them out of harm’s way, or even to quietly eliminate inconvenient offspring to protect Elis’s power, in case some vassals try to overthrow him by using them as pawns or replacements? It’s worth remembering that Alaina mentioned something like this when she talked about what happened at the king’s court during Elis’s exile.

I wonder if other women, like Spring, will be taken for the same reasons, especially if she’s also pregnant with Elis’s children. Given what’s come to light recently, it’s hard to fully trust Alaina. She could be a powerful ally as long as Elis’s goals line up with the elves’. But she’s definitely a threat and could cause serious trouble if left unchecked, possibly even betray or eliminate a lot of people.

On the other hand, Conrad, though he seems loyal and by the book, might betray Elis under certain circumstances. I believe he’s the one who killed the Red Emperor. If Elis ever crosses the line and turns tyrannical, or if Conrad challenges his rule or has ambitions of his own, we shouldn’t forget he’s of royal blood and could claim the throne.

For now, I sided with Conrad during his confrontation with Alaina in the throne room. I listened to her and decided to pretend to believe her, at least for now, when she explained her motives.

I don’t really mind the elves as long as they don’t interfere too much with Elis’s plans or authority. Maybe it’s possible to reach some kind of deal with them, even bring them into the empire by meeting some of their demands. But if they get in our way too much, we’ll have to push them aside or get rid of them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this update, even though it’s a bit frustrating that some things are still left unresolved, like that ongoing war in the West. The writing just keeps getting better and more intense. The story is shaping up to be really promising, and I’m eager to see what’s next.

I’m a big fan of all the politics, intrigues, and recent revelations. I’m curious about the many mysteries and unanswered questions this game still holds. Hopefully, the story has plenty more to offer and will take its time instead of rushing toward this conclusion.

This character is one of Elin's friends, with whom they studied together at the magic tower. At Elin's request, they will arrive at the castle and receive royal protection while investigating the missing magicians in the west tower.

Which of these two designs would you like to see in the game?

Personally, the first one is more of my type of the two. I like the long hair and the clothing she's wearing more. I can also imagine giving her backshots while pulling each braid, but I'm getting way ahead of myself here.

First one looks like a thief. More like Cass.
Second one is a bit closer to a scholar type.

This Conrad and the king have the same mother, but he has blond hair while the king has dark hair. Is there something fishy going on here? Can this Kingsguard really be trusted?
Conrad may have gotten his looks from the same mother. Even identical twins sometimes have different hair colors, or other traits. I don't think this mother is ever mentioned, but Elis thinks the king may prefer blondes, so maybe his father (the Red Emperor) also preferred a blonde wife?
