Elin yes avoidable but wife no i think. Idk probably Seraphina or maybe Cass also get pregnant.
I hope so...
And Lia too... I asked because of the emphasis on "confirmed," even though in Elin's case it's not mandatory...

I think the only unavoidable one is the wife...

But I'd like to know a list of all the possible pregnancies with all the characters...

I want to know if it's possible to form a soccer team made up of only bastards... lol

By the end of the book, there will be a classic: bastards vs. incest.

Confirmed pregnancies as of 1.0 are:
  • Peasant's daughter (from the trip to the West)
  • Isis / Aurora
  • Elin
Unconfirmed by story, but by script & variable code:
  • Rose
  • Spring
  • Valleria
Unconfirmed, just creampied:
  • Lia (twice now, both avoidable)
  • Seraphina (twice, unavoidable if on her path)
  • Cassandra (twice, avoidable if on her path)
  • Peasant's wife (avoidable)
  • Sonya (twice now, unavoidable if on her path)

He sure did, but he's still very weak, he was being slowly poisoned by Alaina for years and he's, well, old. It wouldn't be far fetched for him to never recover.

Eh, I'd say it's fine since MC needs to move beyond his station of prince-regent. The story is, among other things, about Elis restoring the Empire and doing that in the name of his old and sick father seems counter-intuitive and just lame. Kinda robs Elis of the limited agency he has.
I wholeheartedly agree that MC needs to take full reigns as King/Emperor, but killing off Regis before Seraphina and Lia fall pregnant just feels like a cheap way to avoid drama (P.S.: Alaina was "poisoning" Regis so he becomes infertile, not necessarily that he dies earlier. Even Regis himself admits he lived a long & full life) of that impact on their immediate surroundings.

Obviously, it won't be a harmless thing even if Regis is dead by that point, I just think it's one of the easier cop-outs LM can take for avoiding any heavier branching - that is, killing off any character that poses a serious problem with discovering the truth.

Unconfirmed, just creampied is the vampire woman.

You and her have a banter about her being able to get pregnant but no variables.

Rejoice Cass lovers! I got some fan-art for you; I don't know if I got her face and appearance completely correct, but I hope you can forgive my lack of talent :p

Anyways, I hope Cass-fanatics can forgive my previous infraction with that ill-mannered meme I made some time ago, though it seems this thread descended into an Aurora-Isis conflict recently, so I guess it's all in the past now.

Ah crap... I was enjoying the game up until Cas decided to tell me about the coup and the game is now putting me in a situation I don't agree with.

1) I don't like the king, but a bloody coup isn't to my liking either. Just a few days ago I was content sitting at the edge of the world knocking back tasteless beer, but it was peaceful. I'm not suddenly going to develop a cutthroat taste for the throne out of the blue.

2) I don't want to kill Cass either. She hates the King for good reasons and her anger is justified. But why bloody drag me into it? I got my own axe to grind with him, yea. But I don't want to be a pawn either. I'd rather deal with him my way.

And to add insult to injury, if I refuse the coup my character blabbers about being on the side of "Golden Order". MY DUDE! I freaking countermanded the judges who were about to send an elf to the mines for stealing horses! They clearly tell me that I broke the order. How in the heck am I on the side of the Golden Order then?

Man... I understand the dev has his own tale to tell, but this one is coming off at the seams sometimes..

I don't get it. If you don't want to join the coup but don't want to kill Cas, then you will have the white coronation.

Are you saying you just wanna go back to being a nobody prince on the fringes of nowhere until the elves take power?

It's so nice to see others agreeing that we need to watch those, little fucking bastards. We gotta exterminate them all...:giggle:

I think you forget that at this point of the story, the prince is in the complete dark about what the Elves are upto. At least I was, or as a matter of act still am since I haven't played further yet. The only vague clues I uncovered was:
  • Eavesdropped on mother and the teacher while they were talking about the elves.
  • Had a very weird vision when tripping on the white blood.
Now I don't know how it went for your playthrough, but for me the King didn't like me enough to name me heir. Fair enough, I bent the knee for mother's sake but sure as hell I wasn't going to kiss his hand or give the ring to any of his chosen girls. In-fact, combine the white blood visions and the vision in the temple about your sisters, I wasn't even keen about making a call on who to choose. It was way too many red flags and doubts at this point.

But back to your question: I don't get why you thought I wanna live in obscurity- I just said I WAS living a simple life. I'm not going to suddenly develop a taste for murder to acquire the crown just because my sister is angling for it. The MC I'm playing(bookworm) doesn't have that type of cut throat personality. On the contrary, I expected him to pull diplomatic maneuvering to get to the throne. Guess I was expecting too much?

Yeah, it should have been a cuddling, spoon-feeding, hand-holding journey until the end. Now MC has to make a non ideal decision since a NPC dares to have agency and make a move on their own.
What the heck are you on about, my dude? All I said was, I'm not going to kill or hate Cass for what she intends to do, so I'm definitely going that way- whatever may happen. But, don't tag me as Golden Order apologist either. Is that too "childish" to point out? Suddenly her taking agency and me refusing it, is me being a royal stooge even though I stuck down the tribunal's judgement and broke the order not days ago? Am I the only one who sees this as odd?

You don't really need to kiss the King's ass to be named heir. You just have to not blindly follow what Cass tells you. As she's intentionally sabotaging you. As well as not intentionally throw, like putting Lia at risk for her adventure lust. Otherwise, you get named heir with little effort. From what I remember, you only really need to do like 2 out of 5 or so things for the King to name you heir. That must mean you either completely played against him, or played into Cass scheme.

Cass: "Do everything I tell you to."
Someone's Elis: "Okay."
Cass: "Good, king hates you now, so help me stage a coup and take power."
Someone's Elis: "What?!? That's crazy."

Pretty much what happened. Meanwhile, she's about to crash out at the dinner table, if you're named heir. She couldn't even hide her intentions.
What intentions are those in your opinion? I always viewed it as it was showing us that she HAD faith that she could win us over to her side. While her Uncle had been telling her that she couldn't. So that was her realising that he's probably right, and that she can't actually rely on us. And she didn't like the thought that we were going to be against her as well.

Or do you think she was just butthurt that she was losing the throne to the MC officialy?

I'm glad you guys are standing on business when it comes to your playthrough styles :ROFLMAO:, it really shows how nerve-wracking and well-made this game is.

I myself have 4 different paths ongoing, none of which are my original "main" path.
I went into this game trying to be careful, and got owned by everyone for sitting on the fence for too long.

Don't hesitate to retry the game with a path you feel more on par with...
