That's something I noticed too, this update. It really drove home that only the main cast children were important. Even though Val was confirmed as pregnant. Their child didn't appear in the blood. That also likely means the mother has to have a special bloodline of some kind. Otherwise, the pairing results into normal children with Elis?

This is the sex scene from the Queen's Lust path, which is accessible if you select "Refuse" when she asks you to put a stop to your relationship in the thermae in the West. Your choices with her don't matter before, as this is the pivotal choice that determines your path with her going forward (Love vs Lust).
Even with the 1.1 update that kinda "fixed" the Love path (and brought it somewhat on parity with the Lust in terms of narrative standing), the Lust path still makes more sense overall, and also gives you more scenes throughout the game.
For comparison, the (Lust path) Queen and MC have sex over 5 times in this update alone, across 2 different locations (2 of which are fully animated, the rest stills or implied), while the Love path gives us two new sex scenes that are very similar to one another, and happen at the same time.
Most likely a broken save. Did you use any mods beforehand? Those tend to bork saves, as my playthrough on a vanilla game (only URM used) was completely playable.

No, it's just that MC carries the "curse" of twins, like Seraphina is - she gives birth to twins Elis and Elin, and now, the vision shows her giving birth to twin daughters again.
That's why MC's children are always twins, except with Elin because she is his reflection and their child (Selina) is uber-powerful because she is the only child (the "reflections" bit seems to imply the magical power is equally split between the children otherwise)

Cass ain't blood related, no? She is from the former* King and Queen as Alaina has explained. So I think it's alright to have kids without any future complications.

Patreon ban such a thing for a while I think? The blood related like sisters or mother and daughter are not allowed to present in the same sex scene now, so no queen and elin or cass and elin in same scene.

If Alaina told the truth. This is revealed to be incorrect. The current King isn't Cass father. But her uncle using her father's identity. Cass being Elis cousin. Elis, Elin and Lia got unknown siblings out there from their father sleeping with an elf. An elf that's believed by me to be Celestine, Sera's twin sister and Elis Aunt. Making their cousins Noira and Arion their older brother and sister.
