Once again, a known bug that LM is aware of - but he doesn’t do hotfixes, so you’ll have to wait for the next update to have it fixed.

i'm playing this for the first time I have not finish my playthrough yet But i have those saves planned. Is that bug only present in the latest update or do I need to not do the kill Cass option at all till it's fixed. I'm only a little past the coup choice was gonna make those saves soon tho. Just so I can play catch up on my other saves before my main one gets too far ahead.

You can avoid getting anyone pregnant by not romancing them. Elin and Seraphina are the only unavoidable pregnancies if you decide to romance them.

I know! But I want to romance them, just without impregnation. And you'll lose a lot of content if you wouldn't, so it's not like I have a good choice there. Play Gabsburg or play half the game.

It should be fine to continue. The bug is at a specific part towards the end of the current update. As far as I noticed, the game thinks she's dead up until that point. So your saves should be fine.

Technical answer: it’s only the script code in the latest update that checks for the wrong thing, so you are fine to kill her earlier.

TLDR: the game saves her death correctly, but the latest update checks for the wrong thing.

Not as of the current timeline of the story, but we can already see MC's children through various visions - and by all appearances, they seem to be central to the story to come.

So yes, we will 99.99% get to see MC interact with his grown children eventually.
