Some thought about the next update, maybe the s2 will start by the time jump after the king is dead? Otherwise the king will be stupid enough not to know the queen is pregnant.
When the time passed to aurora/isis give birth, the queen's stomach will be very obvious especially there are twins inside according to the vision, as the man who is official the husband and the party who know the ability of himself, it is very clear who is the father that can near to queen enough to impregnant her, is the king really can endure his son knock up his wife aka the son's mother?

When was Cass willing to burn down a city?

during the coup if you refuse to become her puppet I think , I recall there was a image showing the city on fire.

I mean you kind of do if you follow the break her path. Maybe not to the extent you would like but I would still consider that torture.

Though I find it funny no matter how much bad Cass has done even on the resist being her puppet path I find it hard to be entirely mad at her. While I do think she went went way to far I kind of don't entirely blame her for doing the coup just not the methods used. I find it funny I like her more on the path where she causes the most bloodshed and death cause I love the changes I see in her on the fix her path.

Not possibly, definitely, If you punish her in the woods you automatically rape her if you chose to pardon her. Otherwise she's sent to the mines and written out of the game

The thing is it would pretty much be the pregnant slave version of the scene but minus her being pregnant, the post trial scene already established the whole "the player is a cruel slave master to her" thing. Ironically I would've been fine not making her my personal cumdump after the trial but the game said "oh you did it once so now autocommit" which fair enough but now her arc is full of whiplash

It's most likely something he has or had no time for - to create a special "third" version of events, so it is what it is. Once I reach that point in my remake, I will make sure to make a third one... but to be honest, I'm not sure I can pull it off since I can't make actual new renders, and the existing ones very clearly belong to the two polar extremes of treating Val that this third "neutral" version doesn't fit in.

If you can't do a new scene, I recommend doing what I suggested and just smoothing it over with filler dialogue/a dialogue change, the post trial scene already established that the MC is hiding his tendencies from Alaina, so when she steps out instead of the MC asking Val if she needs any help, he taunts and teases her (still says that she stepped out) then when the hug happens have her say that she's had time to think about it all and 'realized' that ultimately she was being given 'mercy' (go full Stockholm Syndrome) the rest of the dialogue from then on can stay the same. (Hell if you want to really play with it you could be inspired by the existing dialogue about the MC marrying an elf in the future and portray her as a 'mind broken yandare elf')

It takes 3 weeks from when the renders are done (the 100% progress update), so mid-to-late January IMHO.

Before it used to be 2 months and now it takes about 2 months for Rendering and Animation and about 3 weeks for Coding, Sound, Dialog, Translation etc.

Well only the last update 0.11 was released after 3 months and all the ones before this were released in 2 months and now this one, 0.12 will also be released after 3 months so I don’t know you can call it a 3 month game if you want but even that is a lot faster than other developers making adult games while some releasing update only once in 1 to 1.5 year.

LM usually released updates within the 60 - 70 day range, but as the game/story go on, the branching becomes more demanding to manage; it's natural that the dev time increased as a consequence.

all Cass needed was a time out haha. That's why I like the fix her path so much cause it seems like she is trying to do it because she wants to change not cause the MC is trying to fix her. To me it show some real character growth why I like that path so much. Tho I think she also realized how much the MC actually cares for her on that path after having some deep / heart to heart conversations with her. Which probably is the reason she decided to change on her own.

Good for her to want a change, but trying is one thing and success is another thing, I am kind of afraid she will be like Camellia in pathfinder: wrath of the righteous who cannot be fixed in the end as it is her true natural even we are the commander who have the ability to change the past.

Camellia was a maniac and psychopath, killing people supposedly for the amulet's spirit, but in reality, she was simply a crazy woman who got a terrible thrill from killing and the sex that followed.
Cass is a completely different person. Compared to someone from WOTR, she's more like Wenduag.
