The story sets up Cass marrying Duran so Elis can impregnate her, but we already know the baby will have Elis features. The logic is flawed. What's the point of the marriage if everyone will know who the father is from the baby's looks? If the reason is to 'hide' the father's identity, then I don't understand the logic the developer is using at all.
I could still understand it with Elin and Lia because both girls share Elis features. But with Cass? Seriously?

Cass is a professional at keeping secrets. She could simply go away to hide the pregnancy. That's a much better and more logical solution than forcing a marriage plot just to cover her pregnancy. Using the same 'marriage for cover' story for a third character is boring and completely uncreative.Well if Cass don't get married with somebody else then I don't see any other way to get her pregnant

Guys, i just replayed the start of the game.
It should be reworked: awful ai generated imgs of armies, text coming out of screen, strange symbols, misprints. But i'm not about it.
Looks like Lady Alaina made all this turmoil. Manipulated the king to move us away. Used our mom to manipulate her children and her husband. Manipulated Cass to eliminate unwanted and after convince everyone that she is an absolute evil, that she wanted the coup. But we have the prophecy of three snakes. If we kill one, the others will choke us and themselves. So better for us to limit her power like i've made in my playthrough with Conrad but it's sad that we can't tell Cass the truth about the plight of her family without Alaina's death. She deserved it by killing her mom with poison. Am i right or too many accusations against her? And i don't understand why Cass didn't want us dead.

It's probable that Alaina is not one of the snakes. You should see a scene with a tree and three cages hanging from its branches if you kill one them. For now, the only snake appearing in one of the cages, if you kill her, is Cass. Alaina doesn't appear even if you kill her, thus she's probably not one of them.

You can't kill Alaina before Una's vision though, you can only banish her up to that point

I don't really think vampirism will have much hold on the story.

Ludwig resurrection is a mystery (not that he dies on every path) but if I have to guess I'd say he is tied to soothsayer girl from the beginning and the cat at the west (both are same entities btw)
I don't think there's ever been a game that needs save naming more than this one, and it sucks having to download mods to do it. Class, Cass-coup, choice of wife, there are so many big branching points that don't neatly go together. The game is too big to replay every time, and without names it's hard to see which save is which combination of events
LazyMonkey is awesome for how quickly and reliably he updates, but he really needs to take whatever extra time required to add save naming once and for all to the base game.

To convey atmosphere of greatness of the empire i think. There are not many of them but they should be reworked in the start at least not to discourage new players.

I didn't even see those. I saw the odd images appearing when you receive the crown of the west and then the really strange kissing "animations". Would've preferred if they were just still images as always.

She didn't do this. It looks like it but it's not. I cooperated with her to save all hostages and to not kill her. But in my first playthrough i killed her
She took advantage of this moment but even there she didn't kill MC and all elven family even if she despises our mom and sisters.
I think it's all was made by Alaina. She found aunt who wanted to avenge her sister, made poison - she brewed potions while she was in capital (if you helped Vel in court), and she made Cass the suspect. Cass didn't know that the King wasn't her real father and why she wanted to kill him? To start building empire sooner? To help her elvish bro?

That's why i won't take this insolent b1tch in marriage even in my third playthrough. There are a lot of other reasons form their habits to cunning.
