Why the sadface? AI doing the kissing looks good and saves LM a ton of time.Yeah
In fact, a lot of VNs could use way more kissing scenes to build eroticism, and AI looks to be very good at that.
I’d even argue some sex scenes can be made really well with AI, but LM will still keep those “hand-crafted”, and reserve AI use for some kissing animations, army animations, and static ‘drawn’ backgrounds.
And given how fast LM pumps these updates out, let him. He needs all the help he can get.
Oh My bad. I saw 0.13 recently updated on GameStoryLog and was so confused lol.
It's still too sloppy and it completely changes facial features in some cases. I would prefer no animation at all if this is the end result. But I understand if you have a different opinion.

Without cheating...
- Well you got the bar wench at the start, she would cheat on her husband but the mc doesn't cheat.
- You can choose the young girl instead of Sona. (Sona's afair would start before mariage but continues during it, leading to cheating)
- And lastly Aurora or Isis.
So at max without the mc cheating... 3 women. Also this isn't path related though because the other women are from the beginning of the story before the mc marries.
But no cheating in a harem? Kinda hard to form one with that rule I imagine

I agree, but even though we know these are extra scenes made to enrich the experience, we can see that some people are quite bothered by them.
To solve this, I think an option something like this should be included:

I've added some extra animated scenes to enrich the experience using AI. If you don't like them or are bothered by them, you can skip them and keep the static image as normal.

"
This way, unnecessary complaints would be avoided.

Why should the Dev do extra work, just to cater for like 10 people who don't like it enough to kick up a fuss? Makes no sense.
the Dev should just do what every other Dev does, and ignore the minority complaining at him. So they either get used to it or don't play the game. Simple really.

Would those who complain be left without the AI scene they mention preferring? Probably not, since many complain just for the sake of complaining.
But it's so simple, easy, and quick to do. That's why I think it's worthwhile to eliminate complaints once and for all; usually, those who complain about small things like to make a lot of noise.
But that must be just because I worked dealing with many "complainers" and got used to "eliminating the problem at its root," and thinking about it when I see it has kind of become ingrained in my head...

the thing is, back then dev test ai scene i forgot on what version then he do poll for ai scene and most people vote yes. so here this is, we got ai scene ingame.

The more I play, the more Imperial Chronicles impresses me in the best possible way. The unpredictability and moral ambiguity of the characters are some of the absolute highlights of the story. At the same time that we're constantly pulled toward chasing lust and power, the depth of the relationships and the real, lasting consequences those dynamics have on all the branching paths in the game make every single decision feel incredibly heavy… Here it's not just hard to make a choice — it's even harder to try to predict what the long-term fallout will be.
Regarding the symbolism of cycles in the rise and fall of races, this part of the narrative only confirmed something I had already suspected: that Alaina, for example, is far more of a pragmatic, Machiavellian figure than a purely evil or deceitful one, and that this endless thirst for vengeance is exactly what drives a people to rise… and then inevitably leads to their downfall! What on earth does Lazy Monkey have planned? Maybe breaking the cycle of retaliation is the real key to preventing yet another empire from collapsing?
But above all, I keep wondering: as players, would we actually prefer the path of reconciliation between humans and elves? Or is the road of lust for power and warlike hedonism just… way more tempting? Even if it drags the characters down destructive paths? Only time will tell. I know we're still far from the end, but I really hope the dev keeps up the amazing work and isn't afraid to lean even harder into the morbid nuances as the story unfolds… I'm dying to see how many more intrigues are still going to pop up in this tale, and how many characters are going to perish along the way.
