They are tied into some paths like the Apryl path and I think the Jane path as well.
Wow, would it be possible to create a game with more annoying mini games? I don't think so
i don't have the hand-eye coordination anymore. I guess mom was right, going blind from ....
some people probably really like them and if there was a little slower mode for people like me I would probably think they are pretty fun. maybe try to code a "Boomer Mode" into it.
I learned my lesson on "hating" mini-games when I was playing "Droid Productions - Love of Magic" with the card game it has, first time I played it I fucking loathed it. Thought I was done if that was what it was going to take just to crank one out to that little blonde trollop or fiery red head. I have now played the game like 12 times beginning to end of all 3 books just trying out new gem combos to kick but in. But they did let you retry and they weren't that difficult.

Fairly early on image
fa13 is missing. It's after MC collided with the jock.I personally think a difficulty selection for the mini-games would be a good idea. Maybe something like:
RAW: No changes whatsoever
Flaccid: Decreased difficulty (slower/fewer QTEs)
F*ck this! I wanna fap: No mini-games, pure VN
If you wanna get cheeky w/ it. Though I don't program so I can't speak on how difficult it would be to implement

Tried out new version, not too much new stuff added, but still enjoyable. Will agree with others the minigames aren't best, and there is a lot with the concert and other stuff.
There is one major hiccup from rework and that is Apryl. We go to concert, and unless I accidently skipped over or didn't read, no mention of this, just felt like we never met, even if we go on stage, so something needs to be changed there in some way or adjusted in dialogue. Just feels a bit of a continuity break.
The other thing I really wish is we could get full MC character model. Would make scenes more dynamic, animations wouldn't be so limited to certain things, So I really hope you consider this dev, would just open stuff up a bit. Could even introuduce a mirror in next version to show our face, that way no more reworks.
Still love Jane, can't wait for more and her femdom on us, the thing I am looking forward to most, so hope whole Jane femdom route will come.
But yeah just some thoughts, excited for more and hope you take some of this to heart dev. Keep up the good work.

What's the rough estimate for when the rest of the story will be released? A quick look at his Patreon doesn't inspire much confidence. I really enjoyed the game (even the mini-games), but waiting over six months for a story I already know doesn't generate much excitement.

The problem is that the end of the concert is the end of the reboot so far, the stuff after the concert is the old content.
Annoying in that the setup suggests it is worthwhile to make an effort but it is so ridiculously fast/hard that it just frustrates and you simply lose every time, yeah... real turn-off.

Fucking QTE's, really? Suffered through the lame fighting game in the hopes that it might be a one-off, but no way am I playing some god-awful rhythm clicker just to pick up boxes.
Other than that, not much of an impression of the game up to that point: Visually it's fine, even if the animations are largely unnecessary and just slows the game down. Most characters come across as slightly off so far (the landlord in particular, but also the daugher and the best friend) but nothing you can really put your finger on or that can't be redeemed.

I think I am done before I start. I came here to complain about the looong convo at the dinner table where the font is white on a white background table. No options to change opacity. Can't read a damn thing. I have been reading through and I see Not skippable mini games are an issue. I guess I am tapping out. Good luck, Dev

Shift + A to open accessibilty settings and enable high contrast text. Ugly as sin, but at least it's legible.

And those QTEs deserve a trial at the Hague, not to mention the fighting game makes no sense and nothing happens if you get a perfect.

Good start that could be better, much better.
I really like it, but it leaves so much potential unused.
A bit too short, a bit too low on erotic content.
Outstanding graphics, excellent animations.
Good facial expressions, and great body language!
What really caught my eye is how much movement there is, even for characters in the background. Although most of the game isn't animated in the classical sense, there are so many different poses that it kind of seems as if it is.
Not just big movements but also, or especially small gestures like hand and head position being ever so slightly different from picture to picture seemingly bring these people to life.
The women are beauties and cuties, all in their own way.
I like that they all have their own unique style.
Love that it is in first person POV through and through! Hope it stays that way.
Good writing. Characters talk like actual people and thus conversations and interactions are natural. Perhaps with the exception of the Jock and Cody encounter.
Choices that lead to different outcomes! Good!
Though some do not really. Are they just fluff? Or will they matter in the long run?
Fantastic soundscape, everything is very fitting.
I really like the music. Love the intro tune. Very soothing. Who's the author?
The jazzy dinner backdrop is also nicely relaxing.
Combined with how nice the Mercers are it feels actually really comfy in their home.
Now the minigames...
I actually quite liked the first minigame.
Certainly better than deciding through a text choice if we've won.
But a trainings round and at least two actual rounds might be a bit much.
Every mini game after i disliked. Especially the box carrying.
The green symbol clicking, and only at exactly the right moment is so annoying...
And the prize for getting through it? The actual game goes on...
So, aside from mostly all the mini games, most of what is here is really good!
It's just that there is not much.
It is like this is the abridged version, like half of it is missing.
There are so many missed opportunities.
MC now lives in a new house, but there is no getting used to this unknown environment.
He probably had to use the bathroom before going to sleep.
Perfect for an awkward, but hot, bathroom scene, cause now he has to share it with two sexy ladies.
Instead after spending time with Jane, MC is directly in bed, and then immediately on campus.
What about some breakfast.
You know it's said to be the most important meal of the day.
Maybe Mr. Mercer and Jane have already left for work or school(?) in Jane's case. Because those two we already know well enough. But Olivia is really being neglected.
So now we could spend some quality time with her.
Maybe on her drive to work she can drop MC off at Uni.
Or she might even teach psychology there.
First day at University sounds like fun and lots of possibilities for interesting things to happen. Instead nothing really happens, we're only there for Cody to be introduced.
The background is filled with nice looking coeds, but we have to deal with Jock and Cody instead...
We just parted ways with Cody, but basically the next scene he's there again.
I'm already annoyed by the li'l gnome. Does he stalk us or what?!
The pacing's off! Needs something in between.
We're told that MC has to go to Uni for some admission paperwork stuff that day, so
why not show MC actually going to the admissions department, and maybe meeting some hot secretary or teacher there.
And is it really necessary that Cody saves MC?
Maybe we could save Apryl instead, and thus she invites us to the concert, and also ensures we get on stage.
Then it's right back home, where just having arrived Mr Mercer immediately makes us carry boxes. Why doesn't he help? Why doesn't he make Jane help?
She just stands on the stairs and simply fucks off.
Jane and MC having to carry boxes together would be a perfect opportunity for some more eroticism.
Cleaning Jane's room was really boring. Could have been interesting though. Expected to have to handle things like panties, her toys, and interesting stuff like that.
Seeing all her clothes lying around i thought we would have to actually pick it all up.
And then she even talks about it, but then MC just mops the floor...
Incorporating the laundry part of the old version might have been a good fit here.
And it could or rather should have led to another erotic scene like Street Kombat did.
When she claims that MC missed a spot she could heavily imply that she means on some part of her body...
What does MC do when not cleaning Jane's room? Cause that must have taken quite a while, and without it it is straight to the concert.
Maybe he could spend some time with Olivia... Have i mentioned that she is being neglected??!
Lots of choices at the concert, that seem to be not doing a lot, at least in the short run, felt a bit excessive.
When choosing to dance with Tiffany, i felt cheated by the game.
There should still be more than enough time to go for Anya instead.
But the problem of dancing with Anya is that you can't properly concentrate on Anya, having all the green symbols floating around. To top it off, the game expects you to click on them....
Also, with how drunk and fond of hugging total strangers she is, i expected a little more.
The air guitar minigame; once i clicked everything, and once just watched, and nothing was different!?
A few things in regards to the non remade stuff:
Dream/imagined sex sequences and jerkin off scenes are just lame. So hope that won't be present in the new version anymore.
And when you reuse/repurpose the sex scenes, please put some transitional parts in. Don't just go from a kiss directly to a blowjob directly to cowgirl...
It's of utmost importance to see what happens inbetween!
MC's dick is very long and very skinny. Poor fella could use some girth.
Cody's sister looks odd. Like she overdid the plastic surgery a bit.
I really like it, but it leaves so much potential unused.
