Penal codes that can perfectly say that porn is legal, unless it contain "this" or "that"; with "this" mostly being CP, and "that" mostly being bestiality.

There are several countries where laws are pretty grotesque, even in the US it would be technically illegal.
Because display of explicit sexual acts is considered inherently obscene in any society where people wear clothes, shut the door when pooping, and only privately have sex in secluded areas.
So no, it doesn't only affect dictatorships with religious or other moral backgrounds.
In fact, the law seems relatively mild in Saudi-Arabia, where confiscation and a monetary fine seems to be the maximum punishment.

You can be subject to just about any crime imaginable, from being robbed or killed, over slavery, to waking up with a missing kidney. The majority of the 230 million population is under 25 and most of them have no economic perspective.
Thus many people in these countries are willing to risk anything to find another country where they can see a future for themselves and their children.
But if you lived in Iceland?
I don't think any Icelander would leave his country just because of porn. You can still consume porn with a certain self-controlled risk of being discovered, same like a hundred million people consume marijuana in most of the liberal democracies where it is technically banned.

As for possessing sexual content, not making it, I have read an official set of laws before, I don't know where it is now, I'm too lazy to search, but there are no penalties for possessing it unless it is C porn then years in prison and hundred of thousands of dollars like the law you mentioned.
