In my country, producing and distributing pornography, even if it's fictional, to the public site is illegal. What should I do?

Do you believe in all kinds of therapies, psychologists, second chances, redemption?
No, not all. Many, yes. As a person whose second bachelor's degree is in therapy and social services, I am aware that not all conditions are resolved through introspection, medication, and/or action. However, for the greater majority of people who are in need of help, it is beneficial.

Pronouns, they/them?
I accept anything not feminine gendered. I am not going to push back if someone uses they/them when talking about me. At least they are being considerate if they are not aware. That's like I attempt to always use they/them when talking about people here, unless I am aware of what they use. Even then, I may default to they/them out of consideration and respect if I do not recall directly.

[...] but morality/ethical laws usually carry heavy burdens and taint your reputation for the rest of your life (i.e. having to mark that you're a felon and what the felony is - usually defined as a "sexual offense" or similar).
Especially when it come to sexual offense, something that in some country would lead to your name being in a public list of offenders. And, yes, you would end in it just because you played a porn game; as long as you're sentenced and commit a sexual offense, you belong in it.

There's also work fields in which you can't works if you've been sentenced for a given reason (being publicly known as porn addict rarely mix well with jobs where you are in contact with children), or if you just have been sentenced, whatever the reason.

And yet, they do. That's the sad part of it all. They do take their porn with them.
"Wife", the word you were searching is "wife" :whistle:

Since the thread has already been spammed to death by all the off-topic trash, here's some sincere advice @ pussydestroyer199 before it gets locked.
==================

Once again - assuming you aren't having a prank with this:

Depending on which country you live in, just by posting this thread you are possibly already on the radar.

There are some countries with very extreme hurdles for the authorities to spy on their citizens - for example, Germany is known for their Law Enforcement Agencies not being able to pursue online crimes except the most severe or obvious ones. Their ISPs are not even allowed to keep records for more than 2 weeks, online surveillance and intrusion into computers is generally disallowed. And this is very similar in all EU member states, data preservation is disallowed by EU law except for specific circumstances where they already have a suspect in an ongoing case.

But many governments - including one within the EU - have been found using stuff like the Pegasus software with no remorse. Against anyone, but in particular journalists and political opposition. Guess how many concerns they have against someone who violates their moral ideals by showing sexual acts in a video game. And tracking the internet usage of their citizens is the least of all problems for them. So it mainly depends on how determined your government and authorities are to catch the - in your country - illegal porn game producers.
==================

1. Are you using a VPN? All VPN providers fully cooperate with LEAs. Their only purpose is to circumvene geoblocking, or conceal your IP to immediate servers you communicate with. Also, using any third party networking like a Torrent through a VPN will immediately reveal your identity.

2. Are you using Telegram? Telegram does selectively cooperate, but LEAs have their ways of getting information from there regardless. The list of cases being caught for crimes commited within Telegram is growing.

3. Planning on using a service like Discord? As above.

4. You were using ChatGPT to translate? Now you're definitely on the radar. ChatGPT keeps protocols of all user activity exactly because of concerns of illegal use of their software, same like all online image generation services do.

In other words, all LEAs of countries where porn production is illegal could now be informed by automated processes like Palantir that someone is looking to break their laws. Then they just need to send your post to ChatGPT to find out who received this particular output, and would have solid evidence against you.

5. You were not using ChatGPT? Online posts written by humans are identifiable like a fingerprint. Google can identify individual users based on repeated patterns of words, phrases, grammar or spelling errors. They can even identify people simply based on daily behavior, like which websites they visit and in which order. With a low error margin.

And all big data companies like Google or Facebook fully cooperate with LEAs, even if just to be on the good side of governments so they don't trouble their business with new laws, enforcement of existing laws, or even break up their monopolies one day.

6. Are you planning on monetizing your game through a subscription service like Patreon or Subscribestar? Probably your national LEAs will be your first subscribers. All trails of money lead them directly to your bank account, and thus to your house. They have their ways to figure this out. This is also how various illegal platforms on the TOR part of the internet keep getting found out, assuming the responsible LEAs are willing and able to act.

I could go on like this, but let's just say this clearly - Do not bother. There is no situation where you could make your game production invisible to your authorities. There is no scenario where being caught and punished as a sex offender would be worth showing your sexual fantasies to a few players through your porn game.

The problem here is that porn is a sexual-moral thing. This is not like getting caught for tax evasion, where people just shrug and your life goes on like nothing happened. It is not like getting caught smoking cannabis, where the judge might wink and make jokes about "having been young myself once" when giving you the minimum sentence.

Anything about sexual laws turns you into a total outcast. You would be in the newspapers as the "sick game producer" who will lose his job, family, and never find a decent job again. Think of people like Harvey Weinstein. Sex nowadays is considered worse than terrorism and genocide combined. Worse than trying to overthrow lost elections in your country. Worse than anything. We're not in the 1970s anymore.

The only possibly safe way to do what you want to do, would be to operate exclusively through the TOR network.
And in that case, you couldn't navigate any site requiring Javascript and thus practically no site at all. Forget about earning money through TOR, that's how you get found out. And forget having a fanbase from countries where porn games are legal, we don't look into TOR either to download porn games.

At the end of the day, your ISP could still see that you are using TOR for whatever purpose, which would put you on top of the suspect list in many countries anyways. Like your TOR activity can be compared to suspect online activity within or through TOR space, and thus give enough clues to warrant an investigation.

TLDR; just do whatever you want. But don't produce something meant for the public when it is illegal in your country.

The best advice anyone here could give you is: leave your country and look for another one where you have more freedom to do what you want without breaking the law.
