In my country, producing and distributing pornography, even if it's fictional, to the public site is illegal. What should I do?

This entry is a bit weird. Scroll down beyond that first list, until you see this part

For example, display of female ejaculation is illegal in the UK and Australia.
That's crazy, but the UK had only begun legalizing pornography ~20 years ago and handles it like controlled substances (only licensed shops may sell it).

Production of pornography is illegal in Russia, although no law defines what pornography is. And this being one of the major international porn producer countries in the past two decades.

All pornography is completely illegal in Iceland and Ukraine.

There are several countries where laws are pretty grotesque, even in the US it would be technically illegal.
Because display of explicit sexual acts is considered inherently obscene in any society where people wear clothes, shut the door when pooping, and only privately have sex in secluded areas.

So no, it doesn't only affect dictatorships with religious or other moral backgrounds.

In fact, the law seems relatively mild in Saudi-Arabia, where confiscation and a monetary fine seems to be the maximum punishment. While people in Iceland go to jail for up to 10 years.
you dont read very well. re-read iceland. FINES for production and sales. not 10 years. watching porn is not illegal. and what counts as porn in iceland? is a game with digital characters porn? it doesnt say.

You're actually correct. I only skimmed over that part and processed the "10 years".

Nevertheless, i you lived in an actual liberal democracy, like - let's say the Netherlands, Germany or France, this situation is completely unimaginable.

If consenting adults have sex, it is none of our business.
If they want to film themselves at it, it is none of our business.
If anyone wants to see it, it is none of our business.

And quite frankly, this degree of meddling of Icelandic Laws in people's private affairs and business models is unworthy of a democratic constitutional state. Even if the majority of icelandic voters would approve of the law, this is a clear case of a "tyranny of the majority against a minority". Which is the opposite of democratic ideals.
There would be plenty of legal material against such a law; like the declaration of human rights guaranteeing one's own sexuality and the free expression of it. If Iceland signed up for the UN and its human rights charter, then please - follow the rules.

Also if the the consumption is legal but the production and distribution is not, you force a situation which is bad for everyone involved. Just compare this to for example prostitution or drug trafficking. If the whole thing is illegal then it falls into the hands of foreign actors, or the organized crime. And these don't follow any of your laws to begin with.

There are some laws which you may find it is worth the risk to break (i.e. speeding 10mph/16kph over the limit). But use common sense on laws that govern morality/ethics in your country. You may think it's a shitty law... it may be, in fact, a shitty law... but morality/ethical laws usually carry heavy burdens and taint your reputation for the rest of your life (i.e. having to mark that you're a felon and what the felony is - usually defined as a "sexual offense" or similar).

Oh, and if you're visiting a foreign country? Don't take your porn. Don't take your adult video games. Leave them at home. Just play it safe.

it's a pity there is no law "not to be boring" otherwise you would already be in prison for life :whistle::whistle::coffee::giggle:

That's totally okay. Abstract thinking doesn't seem to be one of your strengths.
I'm sure you know best. :sneaky::coffee:

Considering that most porn is located online these days, i'm not sure one even needs to worry about 'taking' their porn with them.
You can download any game from anywhere in like 15 mins. :sneaky::coffee:

Sometimes I think why are you here? You seem like a person who is completely uninterested in porn. Some man in boring glasses in a plaid shirt constantly walking around with an intelligent and dissatisfied look, ya know

I'm reporting you for accessing my webcam.

Also, why would I be uninterested in porn but I shouldn't think the same about you? All you do is go around making jokes (poor attempts, at that) and very little sense.

Anyway, I'll tell you my attitude. I can't believe that people go into "general" and "offtopic" create a thread and wait for someone to seriously answer them there. Like, dude, this is a porn site, what kind of help can there be ? People like me are sitting here.
So, that's why I don't understand why you're always so serious and correct or you're trying to be. Does it give you pleasure or fun? I don't think so, because fun is only where there is no logic, meaning, and something else. Yes, and you don't even have moderator status. So it seems to me that you are doing all this just for yourself, maybe you are interested in or to amuse your ego?

No, the main thing is to have the ethics not to assault anyone. If it's only laws that keeps someone from doing something wrong and not their own ethical compass, they need to evaluate their psychological profile and consider therapy.
Do you believe in all kinds of therapies, psychologists, second chances, redemption?
