Exactly. If you didn't go to HS with at least one or two guys who had premature full beards...then you were probably home-schooled.

Yea we had one guy who was around 6' 3", always very nice and respectful, captain of the football team, and was on the track team, which is the only reason he and I were acquainted.
In this game, I think that MC was cursed or something, she said that he was sick, I think the act of removing almost all of his blood, and then giving him a small amount of her blood broke the curse, or whatever was making him sick, what we see after is the way he was always supposed to look, but whatever was happening was causing his issues.
He barely eats, and walks all over town, no way should he be over weight. I enjoy Ravenous, and now I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out, and what he is, maybe a demi-god? Sounds like we'll know more by 0.4?

If you are not gay then you are the first str8 person I've heard complaining about a hot girl just sitting on your lap in my 9 years of AVN reading. If that happened to me I'd find it difficult to not start rubbing her nipples and dry humping her. I guess if she was fat and ugly instead I would agree with you.

Thats not realistic at all. Assholes don't become nice guys once they have unlimited power, they become bigger assholes. I mean, I know its also fiction but its the whole plot of Captain America. You don't pick the asshole to get ultimate power.
The mc isn't an asshole, though.
This mc isn't a dick to anybody. He's not rude, and he's not spiteful. His personality hasn't changed at all.
His mother annoys him because of the general situation, but that's it.
He's surprised and worried about what has happened to him.
He's always been slightly annoyed with certain aspects of his life. That hasn't changed.
He is the way that he is in the beginning from his past experiences. Not mean, just more of an introvert that deals with things that annoy him.
And yes, that part is 100% realistic, unless you live in a fantasy world.
There has been no 180 for his mental change, because it hasn't changed. only his physical appearance.
If you are playing a vampire game, then there are bound to be things in it that aren't realistic.
After all, the root concept, is already not realistic.

...............ehhhh. You're really trying to not sell your VN here, huh? In the last ~ten something years almost nothing good came out with this adjective and it mostly used with bad cannotations. Even I have some knee jerk reaction to it.

It's not a bad VN, at least per the initial version.
But why is everyone so fixated with the MC? He's a decent enough guy, I suppose. Not too ugly, especially when you look beyond all that fat. But other than that, what does he even have going for him? Why are the three vampires so obsessed with him - almost like they moved to the area just to target him? Honestly, the ending of the 'date' was the most believable thing in this whole story.

I just chalk it up to porn logic. I mean in most of these AVNs the MC would be a loser with either no LI's (obviously boring/depressing as fuck for those with the usual expectation of him actually getting laid at some point) or ugly/slutty leftover LI's that either no one else wants or that cheats on him if it were realistic.
So if you were at a party and a hot girl sat on your lap you'd choose to shove her off? Rude!
Same here, even with contextual clues it took me a few to get my brain to read that as "dealing" and not "dealign" (as in leave a political party).
Why do you all come to conclusions, firstly I would hope she would ASK whether or not she can sit on my lap - secondly depending on that answer I would decide for myself to push her off or not
I agree. I know that render time is expensive in these games, but the dev could have spent more time with the MC interacting with the girls and winning their affections. As it stands, he was just a morbidly depressed guy no one would think twice about if they just met him once.
If you think he isn't an asshole to any of the other characters, then you definitely should not be telling anyone they live in a fantasy world. Also, I never said his personality changed. I said he is not a likable character. Someone else suggested his personality WOULD change. I said that was a bad concept if that was the case. End of the day, he's just not likable, which means I don't care at all what happens to him.
