nice try, we're only at the start of the month mate, the rest of your sub money will come in throughout the month, you know this. your subscriber numbers are all i needed to calculate how much you make a month anyway, and it's far more than that as shown below. also it's actually gone up from when i last checked and now you're now making just over 43 and a half grand a year so again stop trying to act as if you're not making money, when you clearly are. you're just showing greediness, clear as day

if this is true and not doctored to look lower than reality, then you're being robbed blind by substar mate, because as i showed what you're earning should be in excess of 43 grand a year based on the prices of the tiers and the number of subs
My Patreon page has been PERMANENTLY DELETED. I can no longer post any games there.
If this game doesn’t bring me money, I won’t make it. That’s the market.
I don’t have enough money to live on, and I don’t want to work delivering food - I want to make games.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I live in California and I have a child.Thank you for the transparency. Looking closely at your payout history, I see that you are consistently averaging around $2,000+ per month (ranging between $1,800 and $2,800).
You talk about 'the market' and fear having to do delivery work, but let's be real for a second: You are already in a very privileged position. In my country, people—myself included—are grinding 12 hours a day, 6 days a week for barely $650 a month. And to make matters worse, about half of that amount goes directly to rent.
You are earning nearly triple that amount purely from game development, without the struggle of surviving on pennies. To be honest, seeing these figures makes your complaint feel disconnected from reality. You have a stable income that many would dream of.
My point is: You have a supportive base that provides you with a great living. Don't take this opportunity for granted. Respect the players and deliver complete updates. I strongly suggest offering tiered early access for subscribers instead of split content, and establishing a consistent update schedule. From what I've observed, your releases lack a stable calendar. Fixing this unpredictability will significantly boost your income. You might not see the results overnight, but if you are patient, I am sure you will see the growth.
However, if you fight the community while sitting on a $2,000/month income, you might lose the very people supporting you.
Your numbers would be wrong regardless, you have to pay taxes as well.if this is true and not doctored to look lower than reality, then you're being robbed blind by substar mate, because as i showed what you're earning should be in excess of 43 grand a year based on the prices of the tiers and the number of subs
Here in Brazil, you leave home at 6 AM to get to work at 8 AM, take crowded buses and face traffic, a shitty job that pays minimum wage, from which the boss deducts transportation allowance, health insurance, and a food allowance of 200 reais/36 dollars to get through the month, receiving a shitty salary of 1200 reais/220 dollars. You arrive home at 8 or 9 PM after standing the entire way + traffic, crowded bus. You pay rent which is around 700 reais/129 dollars, have electricity and water bills, and in the end there's nothing left because the work is from Monday to Saturday, there's no money to enjoy yourself or relax, because just the basic groceries, without chicken breast, meat, fish, cheese... cost 500 reais/93 dollars. Your reality is still better because the purchasing power of the real is terrible.Thank you for the transparency. I understand. California is indeed one of the most expensive places to live, and raising a child adds a massive layer of responsibility. That context certainly explains the heavy financial pressure you are under.I live in California and I have a child.
I'm gonna say this as a person who knows.....you need to move away from that state. Between how its run and the taxes you pay, most other states would make your worth more to you. Literally everything is cheaper. I'm not even caring at the moment if you have to paywall stuff, but living in Cali or Colorado or NY is a shitshow these days and its only going to get worse. Get your fam and get out while you can.I live in California and I have a child.
