Somewhat, yes, but not entirelly. Here is how i see it. For you, this was exciting probably because it was new and taboo thing and you are obviously not alone with this, i see this mentioned a lot. But for me, and i'm not alone either, this isn't just about having fun with something new. Its a fetish. This means it never gets old for me. I could enjoy X+1 incest game where X=Infinite. But for the record, this isn't an incest game technically.
On the other hand, as long it has a huge fan base, this won't change. Its like fashion. Whether its good or bad, the numbers are saying that you belong to a minority. Who are bored of it, but the majority is not. Not yet anyway. I can't tell if they will ever, probably, and may move to another fetish as the new vanilla but right now if we call this the new vanilla, and why not, people are into it. For me this is good, for you, its not. Trust me, i know how it feels to end up belonging to a minority (with my kinks? Hah, i always belonged there). I definitely noticed for example that there are no dedicated gay games. But right now the Incest niche isn't a niche but the mainstream and we call things mainstream for a reason. They attract the most people which translates into the most patrons. This is an entirelly different thing and i agree with you fully. Which is even more sad for me because i love incest games and hurts me to see a project about it ending up as a bait one in the hands of a milker. I can't do anything beside hoping that this one won't end up as such (even if it isn't incest anymore, i find it very promising) but there no guarantees obviously.
And I am quite sure that I am not alone with that.
Of course you aren't, like i'm just hopeful here, not stupid. Those who know me somewhat probably have seen some of my outbursts concerning possible milking projects. How dedicated or reliable, trustworthy its dev is? I have no idea.
