I think it's because the MC takes up the butt.
That's probably one part but the biggest issue is the sandbox grind isn't rewarding and overly complicated as well as the pathing is just as complicated. As the old saying goes K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid... the dev's made it so unbelievably complicated that the game is almost unplayable without a walkthrough and even then if you don't read ahead it's super easy to miss or overlook something. Also the years it's been in development for the content that's there is very dissatisfying to players as well as the simpleton MC, unlikable characters (not all but most including the MC), the mystery that is introduced at the beginning that the last time I played was still unexplained. I won't expand on that because spoilers but, there's just so little to enjoy here in terms of tasks vs. rewards. I will be honest I'm not a fan of free roam and sandbox to begin with, however I can power through most games just find the lack of reward in this one to be overly frustrating.

Yeah... Probably... I played this game once (I think two years ago) and I gotta admit I had to look at the walkthrough a few times... But I liked the butt-virgin path (i.e., the one you don't take up the butt) and most of the girls (at least the ones not in menopause). I prefer sandbox games though (probably because most pure VNs are too badly written; sandboxes at least give me something to play with). It's been a while since I played. I'm planning to do another run and check how much (or how few) content has been added.
I have nothing against other people's kinks, but I think this game has paths so divergent that I bet only a small minority likes both. And, probably, both sides are pissed when content they don't like is added. This may be one of the reasons there's little new content. Maybe it's not even little, but since the dev's almost doing two games in one, content gets split between them. A problem that arises when we try to please many people at the same time... Just speculating though... I'll give my final verdict after I play it again.
