I'm having some issues finding the Dark Street, Trevor texted me once to meet up, but it didn't do it at that time.
It's been a few weeks and I haven't heard from him again, do i need to start the game over?

I believe you need to talk with Monique in her office as well as Trevor at his shop. To get Dark Street at night you need to work out with Monique at home then ask about her training you and finally go to her office and pick up the training schedule. Lastly you need to work out on Mon & Fri mornings and Wed afternoon at least once consecutively then Dark Street at night will unlock. After you robbed on DS at night the first time talk to Trevor at his shop in the morning and he will sell you a pistol or "Gat".

So I have been following this one since the demo. I just got around to playing the latest update so I'm gonna share my impressions of the game so far.

The Good:

Decent renders with some animations still needing work.
Good character development that draws you into their story and makes you care about what happens to them or hate them.
Intriguing family secret that is just beginning to develop.

The Bad IMHO:

Sandbox enough said. You can go days where the only thing to do is for the M/C to sleep in his bed or lay on the beach to reach a specific day/time for an event.
The game has a HEAVY bent toward some extreme BDSM fetishes in the Dom/Sub vein. I was totally put off by the Trap scene in the school bathroom but thankfully Vile Labs listened to those of us and made it avoidable. The update seemed to focus most on furthering the path of blackmail and abuse with Aiko this really leaves a foul taste in my mouth. I like Aiko and feel for her and her situation. You can choose to not blackmail her and treat her with respect building up her affection for you and lust, but you miss a lot of content that way in the current build.

In the current build I am very close to abandoning my support for this one, but I am hoping that a less abusive, more affectionate route will be developed in the coming updates. There seems to be a hint of it so I will keep an open mind for now.

Actually Aiko's treatment has nothing to do with her race. During the scene with Alexander, Sarah and Aiko, Sarah thinks to herself about regrets for treating Aiko as she was being treated in the scene. She concludes though that Aiko deserves because she is the daughter of the gal fucking Sarah's husband and in fact, may even be her step daughter. So in a nutshell Sarah is taking out her resentment of the affair that her husband is having while he at his ambassador post on Aiko. Nothing to do with her race. The rest of the name calling is part of the BDSM fetish where Sarah is dominant and Aiko is the sub who gets humiliated and called all sorts of names like slut.

Yeah while the premise was interesting, I’m not a fan of the heavy dom/sub abuse way the MC seems to interact with the ladies around him. It’s especially frustrating given that it’s a sandbox that could definitely be implemented better for moving the story along. Midnight Paradise is one of the few sandbox games out there that manages to make it easy to advance the story and not rely on a walkthrough to not miss events/content.

The slow burn can frustrating, especially since it seems we have to go the blackmail route to see any good content, hopefully the dev can add more romanceable options in future updates that allows the MC more options in how this story moves forward without missing good content. Unfortunately I pulled my support for now given my concerns, but am willing to give this game another shot after an update or two as I still am optimistic about getting closer to Monique, Sarah, and even Aiko without acting like a total scumbag.

Since you brought up me and my game development I may as well tell some of the story behind that since you already dragged it off-topic:

Game Developers going into other developers threads to give feedback is extremely helpful for the developer getting the feedback. Unlike all other types of feedback game developers have actually got down in the dirt and worked on games. Even if they shit all over the game they are doing the other developer a solid as it's often an expert opinion. I don't say what I say to be a dick. I say it to suggest ways to improve the game and the popularity of my aforementioned comment would indicate that the players in this thread are in strong agreement.

Moving on...

My first game was "The Home". When I abandoned it zero petreon supporters were screwed over as I never made a patreon account for that game in the first place as it was a "Passion Project" for fun.

The renders from my first game "The Home" were all from second life. In second life I had a home and I shot all of the game inside my home in second life. I shared my second life home of a few years with a real life friend that had some real life problems. That real life friend did something stupid and died of a heroine overdose. That real life friend was also one of the main characters in my story. My friend owned the land, but I was renting off of them. After they died they stopped paying and that land went bye bye.

So at this point I was put into a position where I had two options.

Option 1:
-Buy some new land on second life.
-Buy the hair and skin shape ect of my dead friend and create a duplicate account of a dead person as my puppet
-Rebuild the home over again with every piece of furniture in every spot to the inch all at perfect angles
-Continue working on a game with drug elements that was made with a little help from someone who died of a drug overdose

Option 2: Work on a different project instead in collaboration

As for the throwing stones from a glasshouse... Give it a month or two I have been working in collaboration on a much better project with a talented daz artist that I'm pretty sure is going to be very popular.

I can wait. Just pulled my support recently since I didn't like the last update and the overall direction of the game. I'm still optimistic with some tweaks/improvements it can be worth playing again. Fingers crossed more Monique updates primarily, plus Sarah and Aiko too.

It seems like a lot of developers do this. They have a game that comes out and has great direction, then it loses all momentum often turning into something different. They did it recently with Echoes of Lust and Leap of Faith. Something just went wrong all the sudden and a pivot in direction just ruined them. One of the worst is Bright Past, dear god it has turned into an utterly confusing game that forced all the time of day and day specific bullcrap to the point where even a guide is confusing and hard to follow.

Precisely why I'm always hesitant with sandbox games. Only one that I played that was remotely coherent despite the ridiculous slow burn and without the need for a walkthrough is Midnight Paradise. Like or hate the plot/story, the way we are able to refer to the 'cell phone' for specific hints on advancing every storyline really should be incorporated in some way with alll other sandbox style games.
