I do think it depends a bit on what the formula for a work is. For many sitcoms, for instance, the focus is on the sexual tension, not on the actual culmination of a relationship. In a case like that, once things finally happen a key ingredient of a show's success is lost. However: first of all, this is just more support for the principle not to make your creation based wholly on a single idea unless you can sustain that throughout the entire story; and second, this game obviously isn't like that.And the insane wandering around, the buggy hints, the plot curling up itself and dying and a few other problems...
Yeah, I've heard it actually theorized as "protip" for aspiring game designers. Either the rest of the world is very different from me, or it's utter garbage. It's like saying "Once you'll see a porn scene with Sara Bell, you won't be interested in seeing her in other porn scenes." Uh?
