the ammount of people willing to waste money doesnt determine the quality or dedication of the developer
look at Summertime Saga, yearly updates, tons of patrons
Could be numerous reasons, IRL things, writers block or doesn't share same passion for the project anymore compared to the beginning.
Some people who mainly do it for the money also like to milk as much as possible because they know the money tap stops if the project is finished so they prevent it from finishing too fast. Sometimes they add different side projects to stay relevant and blame not working on the main project by spending time on these side projects and stretching the money tap period.
But no one forces anyone to subscribe or pay, you can literally just forget about this game for a while, wait until v1.0 and then buy it instead...but as most of these developers know, lust is a hell of a drug
Also some people claim the supporters who are being milked should stop paying because if a lot of them do then it might give a wake up call to the dev but it could also just make the dev tag the project as [Abandoned] and we don't want that either.

Thank god I stopped throwing my money at this developer and started supporting NTRman, their current games may be poorly written, but the sex scenes, voice acting and art are always excellent.
At this point the only good thing i can said about IWH is that the artwork is good, BUT people can waste their money as they like, If for them this game worth it then good for them.

You can't. They are supposed to be Tatsuki's imagination, so he doesn't know for sure what's happening. I guess well see them unblurred when, or if, the Hana POV ever gets released.
Quality of the recent updates aside I'm not sure why you bothered supporting this game in the first place since it is(was?) supposed to be a netorase game when your kink is clearly something else, if you want to support NTRman.
