Because there are hundreds of game here and you cannot expect people to support all of them.
I am supporting 3 games at medium tier right now myself. And that is already plenty and this is a pirate site.

Since when dev being in the thread supposed to prevent people from pirating the game? Dev introducing paywall and being in this thread wont change the fact that this is a pirate website. If he will start messing with the links in op post to prevent people from playing it he will get his thread moderation privilleges revoked very fast.
Does this update actually has new content that isnt locked by paywall or is it another dud that shouldnt have appeared on the latest updates page just like the last one?

I do not care, this is a pirate site. It is also the main source of their patrons, because guess where people find and hear about their games. Wanting the free advertising, but being angry about pirated stuff is hypocritical af. If it was not for sites like these, their income would be 0.
This being his main source of followers doesn’t take away from that fact this is also the main cause of creators not wanting to continue developing their games. I use this site as a forum FOR porn games, if the people here provide links for them then it’s too late might as well take it. Otherwise publicly begging for a link is very disrespectful to the creator when they can also see it.

At least until now the password for the most recent version has always been leaked over here sooner or later. Now that he significantly cut the free release waiting time that may change, who knows.

Sure, you'd have to be lucky so you'd get it before the dev changed it again and again and again. As said when this all started, it's a gigantic waste of time and effort for everybody.

I think it's a gigantic waste of time for those who don't want to wait. As for the Dev and his supporters (who I am not one btw), it seems to be working. If he was trying to PW it indefinitely, I think someone would take the time to figure out a way to bypass the PW - and that would most likely be passed on here. Just my opinion.

And yes, the recent changes of just two weeks delay certainly make it less probable for people to care compared to the way longer time it took before. Back when KST (the Twist) added a DRM to his game it was cracked in less than a day - then again, this game is indeed far less popular as of now.
Ultimately every minute that is spent on creating and maintaining a copyright mechanism isn't spent on developing the game itself. I mean, I don't want to know how much time FallenEros spent watching this topic to see whether somebody leaked his password again or to write people to please not leak it. To me that kind of frustration alone wouldn't be worth it - especially as I'm not sure how much these mechanisms (followed by a free update) actually increase the income, compared to other things devs can do.

I've never used the PW, so I'm not sure what all is involved. I assume once it's set up, it's fairly easy for him to change. Maybe it's time based and changes automatically? I have no clue.
I liked this game because of the art style, very good I will say. I know its supposed to be upbeat netorase, but just idk felt unsettled every time Hana got with the kid. Game is not my cup of tea and I wish the creator luck and keep going!

Yea, I liked it better when the MC wasn't always excluded, which seems to be the standard now.
At the rate it seems to be going, it will end with him getting a monthly phone call, if he's lucky.
