I think the argument he's going to use if he gets backlash for that is that it's for January members, as in, if you were subbed in January you'll get the update even if you are not subbed anymore, but it's still a scummy way to announce the update schedule IMO, because it obviously associates a month with the update in the readers' minds while the actual update won't come out in a long time.

that is 100% the case, he specifies "for members of X or Y month" for a reason, so he can protect himself of any backlash

which is also the reason why i have repeated a couple times that they shouldnt expect any hana update until like june-july, i said it before he announced this roadmap", and when he announced it with Hana at "march members" i was like "yep, i was right"

Is he going to make a poll to ask if he should put in a more aggressive DRM? I read from one of the crackers that the DRM for the new game was fairly simple

Well - At least there will not be some DRM garbage for me to sort out. I will simply completely ignore those games. The only thing I am interested in is Netorase and Netori (only when stealing the woman is justified, like in for instance "Saving Mrs Hinako", and without "fun" things like blackmail, violence, torture, rape, hypnosis and mind control and so on).

In short - The developer/author has lost my interest a good while ago, and it seems that will stay that way...

He didn't drop the Hana games(3 fucking games, not a single one finished), he is delaying them to work on the new NTR game because he got requests from both outside and inside his Patreon to make NTR route with Hana. Big dollar signs appeared on his eyes when he realized that he had some untapped potential patrons/milking-cows who want NTR, so he immediately stopped developing on Hana and got started on the NTR game.

Thing is, IWH is basically 99% finished. The sensible thing to do was finish it up and THEN move on to make the NTR game. But the man is sneaky, he knew if he finish Hana first and then move on to an NTR game, he will definitely loose some NTS fans who might not be interested. It's all a scheme to optimize profits for as long as humanely possible, hence why the dude has 4 fucking games unfinished. It's all to utilize the sunk-cost fallacy to make the patrons keep paying for as long as possible.

This dev is a greedy schmuck with nothing on his mind but the money.
