Waiting is all well and good, but waiting in silence is another story. Especially when we're told there'll be an update at a time window, but then get total radio silence for nearly two months. Look, doesn't need to be news of progress or anything, just a 'hey, still alive, haven't made any progress' now and again would be nice.

while i agree on the premise that a heads up would be appreciated. The way you say it comes across as overly entitled for a free translation project, dude.

Understood, I'll try to be more diligent on keeping contact with you all.
ya know just an idea, optional ofc especially if it takes too much work.
But a visual list of sections done and not done on the post would probably be good. Show how far along it is which routes are done etc. Just a thought
i hv a questions, from the game files , its a live maker games, and my question is how do your translation doesnt have any character spacing at all in it, ive tried translating other livemaker games and the result came up with those bad looking character spacing that looks so bad

I assume that I am using a different method to translate it. I did not know that was a common problem.
nevermind i figured it out, turns out older livemaker engine do have font problems, and after some further digging around i managed to find the fix for it

I understand and apologize for the amount of time I'm taking to make this translation, that being said this last post gave me an idea....
Would you all like me to make a machine translated version to quickly get something out?
I would still make the "good" version that I'm working on, but this way everyone will have something in the meantime.

not really no, machine translated is no substitute for properly translated.
(imo people need to learn some more patience, i know impatience is a common affliction on the internet, especially nowadays, but man)
At least thats just me, i'm happy to wait to not 'ruin' my first go through as it were.

General Update: Life Changes

Hi everyone,
I want to thank you all for your interest in my current projects and for your support both financial and emotional.
I started learning Daz3d and RPG Maker in 2021 after losing my job. I have been a stay at home dad since and had hoped to use my new skills to create a stable source of income. Unfortunately due to several events that have occurred, depression and my own perfectionist attitude, my work has been slowed and delayed by an unacceptable amount. I realized that this is not working out for income (even with a part-time job assisting) and have decided to get a full time job. I have a position lined up and am currently awaiting the background check.
Ash has been very supportive throughout all of this, she has been supporting the family herself, I wish to alleviate that burden as much as possible. I do not want to raise my prices or even force a paid subscription either, since I don't believe that it would be fair to you all, that is why I choose a normal 40 hour job instead. You work hard for your money, I need to do the same.
I want everyone to know that this DOES NOT mean that I am going to stop production on these works and honestly you may not even see any worse of a delay that you already have. I fully intend to finish these and still make my own original stuff in the future, this is my passion.

Cost of everything has increased and its simply become impossible for me to solely support our family. I appreciate all of you guys and the support you've shown Emerald. This isn't the end, I wouldn't allow Emerald to walk away from his passion. lol. Just give him some time to acclimate to his new work schedule and the work/life/free time balance. I've been playing this game on and off with text hook translating, which has been going as well as one can expect.
However, I've seemingly exhausted all options in the game, yet most of the third gallery page remains unfilled.
I found only a single walkthrough, but find it impossible to follow (
Has someone played this game and knows what I have to do or, alternatively, does someone have enough grip on reading japanese to make sense of the walkthrough?
From what I understand, the player has to be on a certain path to reach the final story branch, but I can't figure out how to get there.

Hello everyone, I was working on the Priest corruption for PoE earlier this week, but had a lot of interruptions, so I changed gears for a bit to work on the Dirty Prison ship translation.
I'm going to try to get the (going from gallery) "Affair with Reil", "Adultery with Reil" and "Liz peeking into Affair" scenes done and then release them as an update.
Someone a while back said to release by scenes rather than by chapter to help get it to the fans faster and I'm thinking that that is the way to do it. I'll be releasing by scene groups, that way if you are not on the path for that exact scene hopefully you would still get something out of the release.
