How come you don't have any contribution link? You clearly deserve some money for this work. I also understand if you just do it for the fun, but feels bad that some far worse games gets revenue and yours don't...
I don't ask contributions because of the time it takes to get the updates out (it's now been about 7 or 8 months since the last update).
Plus, having a paid subscription keeps me from making the project I want to make. Some sites have rules about certain things that would keep my project from being made. (Landladies, roommates, etc).
And one big final thing is that... I don't want to keep up with it. Having a subscription takes too much time for me. I see creators managing their patreon, subscribestar, discord channels, etc; and I don't have the time or energy for it. They have more invested in their craft, both creatively and financially; that I would feel like a fraud if I set up something like that.
In the end, this project is just a fun way to pass the time. If other people like it, then that's a bonus. I still believe even free creators should be accountable, much like how some people need to feel accountable about going to the gym. It's a personal thing to do, but it helps realize my goals.
