2 months ago there was still a sliver of hope to continue working on this project. That hope kept me going for a while. But now it's no longer possible.

As of right now, I have no plans to hand this off to someone else. Besides just handing over a script, I would have to hand over all the models and scenes I've made; which use A TON of assets. As well as all of the game files and notes that aren't packaged with the published VN. And with the collaboration I've had with the great and sexy Osanaiko, the project wouldn't feel right without their input.

This project and it's characters are special to me. I will always hold out hope that I can return to it, even if it's only a few minutes at a time. I still keep my dev log updated (linked in my sig block) with the latest news, just so nobody forgets about the VN.

I'm sure that isn't the answer you would want to hear, but it's the only one I can offer.

Remember that he's already spent years on this project, literally 1000s of hours of his own personal time, and given it all away for free.

I'd estimate there's at least another few hundred EDIT: (based on the story summary GTS posted) 500-600 hours of effort to fully complete the current story arc. Let alone add on some of the lovely homecoming scenes we know would happen in the perfect world.

GTS has had trouble come to him in the real world, all he deserves from us is sympathy and support.

If he gets a chance to do something and tidy up loose ends then we will be lucky and happy. But he owes us nothing.

STORY: Home 3 scene had some revelations of Hilda with her time fighting alongside the Touched (i.e. Greer); Mauve, Greer, Fiona, Hilda's confrontation with Eva and her minotaur pet; Skye's newly-discovered bisexual feelings; and some history about MC's father.

OPTIONAL SCENES: Hilda w/ MC ghost (69-type thing), Fiona w/ MC ghost (undecided, but leaning oral); Skye (lesbian sex w/Lyall) while Greer masturbates in another room. (And possible new scene of Fiona's stories involving Rhona with MC.)

Update 2:
STORY: Abaddon scene with Tunrida discussing next steps with MC; Tunrida's slaves "milking" MC while he's chained up; Shelby doing more recon of hellgate; Bodil escape scene (w/ witch seduction); more revelations of the berserker/demon relationship; major Bryn scene with MC (starts with MC's astral form then she visits him directly in his cell) and then has to flee when they're caught together, (Bryn's true demon form revealed at the end of the scene). MC challenges Abaddon to a final fight to spare Bryn's life. Final arena scene with MC and Abaddon. (You can guess who won...)

OPTIONAL SCENES: Tunrida being serviced by one of her slaves as she watches another slave milk MC; Bodil seducing witch to escape; Bryn caught by MC as she tries to fuck her own ass (remember, her dick got ALOT bigger after her visit with Gullveig), then a double-anal scene (Bryn's ass double-stuffed with her's and MC's cocks).

Update 4 (Final Battle/Conclusion, Ch04 Part 2)
STORY: Dialogue until story catches up to prologue then big fights/battles, alternating between home (Hilda berserking and fighting a possessed city guard and miltia with Skye fighting beside her, Fiona and Rhona using their magics to fight Eva, a possessed King, and some demons; with Greer and Lyall fighting through the crowd to grab the horses and help everyone escape), and demons (MC berserking, Bryn and Shelby fighting demons and orcs, Mauve and Bodil guarding Tunrida).

End of battle wrap up, final choice regarding Tunrida (Death by valkyrie/return with valkyries for justice), MC in coma. Hilda/Skye/Greer/Fiona/Rhona/Lyall escape to new city.

END OF CHAPTER 4

All of that was already planned out. Much of Update 1 has already been written. Chapter 5 was about MC's return to his family, the family's adjustment to the new city, and MC's friends and comrades new plotlines.

You can see, it was alot. And required much more time than I have.
