that's fineee...I'm working on it. Including right now. Sorry, but the update is still being developed.
I just love this game. That's why little impatient.

No, I'm afraid not. There will be another adjustment to the approximate deadline at the end of January. To understand, I'm still writing the draft and there are, as I write these lines, there are already 833 pages. And there's still 100 more pages to go, I'm guessing. I'll try to make it to the end of the month and start integrating it all into the game, but I'm afraid it's still a couple of months away from this big update being ready.End of month still valid for update? Can't wait to play!
Really? I didn't notice anything - and all my versions of Selene has not exactly been what you'd call "careful".The pregnancy system, and checking its effects, is already in the game. If your Selene wasn't lucky (or was, depending on your preference) she might already be experiencing some early symptoms in the last game update.
There's some randomness involved in whether not being careful results in pregnancy, so at the end of the day your Selene could've simply been lucky. Or, like mentioned, unlucky, depending on your preference.Really? I didn't notice anything - and all my versions of Selene has not exactly been what you'd call "careful".

Just for comparison, the biggest update before this was ~350 draft pages. That is, the next update will easily accommodate content for, like, ~3 past updates.
The only way to speed it up is to cut the episode into pieces. But this specific episode can't be cut into pieces. It would ruin everything. And, I think, when you play it you'll understand why. So there's not much choice but to grit my teeth and keep working.
Nah, just an episode that got off the hands, fattened up with content and grew to triple its planned size. Sitting over there now. Looking down on me.You're writing an entire trilogy at this point.
What kind of backhand compliment is this lmfao, the writing in the story is fineI actually don't mind your broken English writing, in my head cannon it makes sense that they wouldn't be speaking 100% perfect modern English anyway.
People in the game world certainly don't speak English. Or any other modern language.I actually don't mind your broken English writing, in my head cannon it makes sense that they wouldn't be speaking 100% perfect modern English anyway.
That's okay. I'm not one of those rare exceptions who can speak a foreign language better than its natives. What kind of backhand compliment is this lmfao, the writing in the story is fine
I introduced the religious aspect as an integral part of the world and society, not just a decoration. So yes, Selene has and will have such options.I like that you can play Selene as a believer who is reluctant to go against gods teachings. In the future I would like to be able to explore more of the religious part of this world, such as Selene praying to the statuette of Melea if she discovers that she is pregnant or what religious festivals are in a world in the bronze age with two suns.
If i'm not mistaken their equipment is pretty different -- with priority on heavier bronze plates to protect as much as possible from the bites, and also seemingly put together from random bits. Each hunter's armor on their original in-game portraits is quite unique. But don't they wear similar looking armor to the soldiers of the republic?
In order to meet her as a survivor, Selene has to make a specific set of choices in the first dream sequenceAlso sidenote, the red mistress continues to elude me. No idea where she shows up. I'm probably really stupid and missing an obvious line or something. I'll try to keep a better look for it in next playthrough.. hell i even managed to miss the cat in this playthrough lmao.
Yes, i went back and looked at the portraits, indeed there is quite a bit of variation for the hunters, while for the republic army they are all standardized, or appear to be anyway based on the silhouette. So, yeah i guess it makes sense that Selene doesn't immediately feel that trauma. If i'm not mistaken their equipment is pretty different -- with priority on heavier bronze plates to protect as much as possible from the bites, and also seemingly put together from random bits. There's so much I could say about Survivor... But I'll try to narrow it down to some of the questions in your post. Or rather, to perhaps the most weighty one of them.I've just completed my survivor run in the current version. Probably my favorite origin at the moment. Her backstory and motivation really hits me. I specifically liked in the last chapter, a dialogue Selene can have with one of the hunters in regards of her origin story. I could almost feel the hope in Selene's thought process when she made the question to the hunter, and the disappointment that came with the answer. Also the nightmare that Selene has in her first night is genuinely gut wrenching.
I will say though, that i was a little bit confused in the last chapter with the hunters, because i was expecting her to have a more visceral response to the sight of the hunters. I mean, i get it that the hunters are not in the republic's army. But don't they wear similar looking armor to the soldiers of the republic? And on top of that one of those hunters is a former soldier in the republic, part of that very same army. I guess my point is that i was expecting Survivor Selene to be far more reserved, and distrusting when walking around those hunters, instead she is basically in a state or either being disinterested or straight up horny. I get it that they saved her, but i just thought her trauma would play a bigger role in that situation. Not a big deal, and maybe i'm just misinterpreting the hunters relation to the soldiers of the republic and i'm making a connection where there isn't one.

I agree that her trauma shouldn't define who she is, and indeed if survivor Selene were to walk around in a perpetual state of suffering it would be quite tiresome, and probably wouldn't work very well for her survival chances either. I guess the issue that i was having was that i looked at the hunters as if they were just another "branch" of the republic's military, and in that case I'd imagine that a person that went through what survivor Selene went through would have flashbacks, or at least some level of discomfort being next to men that reminded her of those who hurt her. But as i said, it may be the case that i saw a connection between the hunters and the military that shouldn't be there, i thought their armor looked similar, but it clearly isn't based on their silhouettes. There's so much I could say about Survivor... Survivor's trauma affects her but does not define her. That's a key aspect of this Origin. Her background lines (as with all other Origins) only actualize some character traits, but they are optional in most cases when it comes to the present. This is not the case when it comes to a character's personal past, here each Origins only has certain sets of lines.
I'm intentionally doing it this way, leaving room for roleplay. I don't want Survivor to do nothing but walk around suffering all the time, thinking only of her trauma. It would be hard and tiring for me and the players. Who says that specifically your Survivor can't enjoy life if that's what you want? Maybe that's how you roleplay her starting to heal? Or on the contrary, you choose the most embittered and sullen lines over and over again just to mirror her trauma. Should I forbid it? Say, "Oh, no that's not right, you're playing it wrong, that's the way it should be played!" And replace all the choices with strictly preset lines that I think suit her better? I don't think so.
This, by the way, applies to all Origins. The Heiress isn't always cheerful and carefree, the Noble isn't always arrogant and pretentious, and the Vagrant isn't always rude and thieving. Their personal, Origin-based lines are usually related to these traits one way or another. But when it comes to their present (not their past), these lines are always optional. So that you, the players, have some freedom to maneuver in your roleplay.
Oh, man, that's awesome!>perfect modern english
