no it means that i have to keep multiple saves and play them simultaneously to unlock all the story content and i hate being forced to do that but its better then finishing the game and feeling unsatisfied because i missed some lore knowing that i have to replay the game again and again and again just to get the full picture
if there would be some wiki that would be fine cuz all i got to do search a character or an event i do love wikis

no it doesn't feel organic to spend a lot of time in a small group and they all stay strangers(idk if stranger is the right word) except one unless ofc you play as an introvert
you said a lot of "Have to" when in reality you're doing that to yourself.

And I don't know what you're talking about stranger. the Crew are pretty much interact with each other from Cadonis to Iolanta, and what confuses me the most from your statement is that, these were moments where you talk with each other on public. If you choose Cadonis during that trip, you still get to know Iolanta through her dialgoue from the events that happened afterwards because Selene and Iolanta talks about stuffs and did stuff together. On the other hand, if you choose Iolanta for that trip, so far, you will not know anything about Cadonis pass. Why? Why would you? You reject him, and he's not one to talk about his past. This is a good writing and how writings should be.

As for Tabius or Sargon, like they are the old veteran from different generation, why would they talk to you on regular basis for entertainment? Especially Tabius who clearly thinks everyone else thinks differently than him?

I like the fact that the game offers a couple of distinct paths for Selene from the beginning, and of course those paths have their own small branches that may or may not evolve into their own separate paths in the future. While i do understand that a game that does this will require multiple playthroughs to see all of it, which may be a turn off for some, i think at the end of the day is a question that each player has to answer for themselves "is this game enjoyable enough to play it through again?" So far the answer for me has been a resounding yes. I have done two playthroughs with one origin, and i'm thinking on maintaining 2 playthroughs per origin as a minimum. It's not a huge time investment, and i enjoy the writing enough that i don't mind reading it multiple times.

maan i give up i won't bother myself with other routes may the hidden be damned :) who cares about stories and lore anyway i will just focus on making selene to be the best actress and other goals she might have
Relaxing and just playing is, in my opinion, the best way to play IE. I'm not making this game for a couple of evenings. Even at the initial stage, as it is now, there are about a million words in it. I want people to always have the opportunity to come back when they feel like it, play it again, and discover something new.

To do this, I'm adding combinations that will be discovered by ~ 1% of players at best. What's more, the further you get from the starting point, the more the game branches out. Yes, I won't be able to provide you with completely different paths and several equally valuable storylines. I simply can't do it physically, not with this level of detail and focus on events...

The game is more like intertwined vines. Each one is similar in some ways, but still different. And as you follow one, you reveal it, but miss something on the neighboring one. And even though at its core, the story is the same, there are still many differences depending on the choices made. This is the essence of choice. The consequences are different. Even if not always globally.

when you word it like that i really can't complain and i understand why people will like that it makes sense and realistic as well ...
but i know myself the more i like the game the more i become obsessed with every detail
just like IRL in history you can't know it all , but this is a game however you can make wiki as spoiler archive that contains every branch maybe as a bonus after the game is done?

wiki projects tend to be fan-maintained, so you could start one yourself.

if you feel compelled to know all possible permutations of events, a html file is just lots of plain-ish text, so you can open it up in any text or html editor (e.g. notepad++) and use search to find keywords and sections that interest you. or if looking at that is confusing, load it into with to get a pretty node tree.

it's going to be immersion-breaking, though, so i recommend only doing that in emergency or after you're done with all the normal playthroughs you wanted to do. and there's also the option to ask in this thread if you need help. defiant explorer is also eager to discuss the story and worldbuilding if you have any questions that aren't answered in the game or on the patreon, and that aren't in the spoilers territory.

Any hints of where to even begin looking for them, I already have found the one with Jum, but saw people talking about other one and I have no idea where to even begin looking for it.

It would be strange if I made secret scenes and then revealed them myself... But there are already many hints throughout the thread, and maybe one of the players will give you a hint.

This is such a niche game that I like very much. I’m totally into it. The fresh take on ancient Greek myths-inspired, where you play as some regular survivor scraping by, not some destined hero. Took me a minute to figure out you can allocate those attribute points using the insights you pick up from exploring/dialogue. On my first run, I ended up with over 25 of 'em, and heads up: if you don't dump at least one point into a stat (like keeping AGI at zero), you're stuck without it forever.

IIRC this is intentional -- for players who want to have their character handicapped in certain area(s), leaving that attribute at zero blocks it from leveling it up "naturally" by passing relevant checks.

But since you can always spend some insight during the game to move it to lvl.1 or even higher, this "forever" only really lasts as long as the player wants to inflict on their Selene.

Hope someone makes the wiki for this game. It deserves one, either from a fan or the devs themselves. Creating a wiki is tough work, though. Fingers crossed.

New post...

Technical part.
The draft is still not finished... but I am quite sure that it will be finished in the first week of November, give or take a few days. Then it will be converted into a game. Those who have been here for a long time already know what this means, but for those who are new... Conversion is the transfer of the draft text directly into the game and all the technical matters related to it (translation, art creation, coding, playtests etc.).
