If The PHONE BUG happens you can fix it in Save Edior
Saved Files on Windows ---- (YOUR DISK)\Users\(YOUR USER)\AppData\LocalLow\DefaultCompany\Innerself Project
Open the save file in save editor there is one online and change of whatever trigger you missed to 0 mine was

So, for anyone else who wants to try, google "Unity save editor", first link.
I tried and could get the chat in the phone to progress, got her to visit, theres some live conversation about going somewhere, but then after the conversation is over you are in the room alone and the correct variables don't get set up (I think?) so you can leave the room and when you open the phone, the conversation appears to start from the first line again.
I played with the variables:
isPlayerRespondeuJessicaTrigger02
and maybe chatJessicaTrigger02
I can't replicate the results anymore so I'm not sure.
There's a variable
bloquearSaidaDoQuarto (literally block exit the room)
but the bad part is it's automatically set up on load or something so I couldnt get out even when I reset it.
There's also a
jessica_ChatMessageBloqueio
which could be blocking responding to her.
I'm gonna give up for now but maybe this helps.

you can reply to Jessica, click on the message as usual and then click on the answer choice as usual even if you don't see the answer, the answer is invisible a little higher than usual.

Eh, for .5 there is a scene with the roommate in which he slips and you can look at his junk. Talents is a weird thing, if you mean the tree it was something they had planned to do for a while now but hadn't done so(I remember when they checked discord them talking with a member who talked about it being useful to have it be a tree).
But overall yeah, this was more adding in mechanic that was desperately needed rather than a true content update.
yep, pretty blatant patreon cash grab. almost no content after literal years of development. small skill tree thing added, nothing else new. games till buggy as well, no skipping the talking, so you can't even skip things you've read before, which with how slow the chat is, makes it extremely tedious, and that's before taking into account the new skill tree is entirely a grind, to unlock base features piecemeal, like "shaving", split into multiple seperate skill point sections.
While not quite defending the speed, they are admittedly a one-man team making a drawn(and stylized) porn game, outside their native language, while also dealing with life fucking them over (health, job, etc.) so while it can be faster at best a monthly update text wise could be managed most likely.>Check in on this thread with over 300 posts, almost 2 years in dev, and 4 updates.

To be clear, I am reaching out to see if text wise things can be helped(Even if it's just proof-reading) along with trying to let them know about this discussion to see if it can help them work on the bug. As I seriously doubt it's just a cash-grab with how low the patrons can go along with the fact it's drawn and not using real pornogrphy(minus the y'know, in-game porn), Kisekae, or the like.
Welp, closed the game on day 10. After launching it again and loading the save the game demands to check conversation on the phone, which is repeated message from MC's girlfriend from the very first day, with no option to reply. Effectively soft locking things up.

the first phone message can be answered. the day 7 message can also be answered, but it's invisible, like mentioned in #349. but the day 10 message can't be answered at all. hii love, i'm here. now nothing. such a shame that this game has these dumb softlocks.
I would genuinely say that Carnile needs to have people helping with this game. The art they can obviously handle on their own, but I can't help but feel the state of the game is in part them trying to do Coding, Writing, and Art. The texting system is genuinely just slowly breaking down with each person tied to it.
Like I said, am trying to get in contact via Patreon to see if they're willing to take help even if it's just with proof-reading. Hopefully it goes somewhere, otherwise kinda expect this to be a cyclical 'update to no news'.

The code is a total mess in this game. This phone bug had happened before and still is a problem. You can't keep adding things and don't even fixing some logical issues in your code like variables colliding with each other. The art is super good btw.

Check the skill tree then click on the razor in the bathroom. It is just under the mirror

It didnt work for me I was able to anwser the message from Jessica however I was NOT able to leave the room after . Glad it worked for you tho
