There is wide latitude as to “choice” in VNs. Kinetic Novels have no choice. The story is the story. Visual novels can have different levels of choice, some really impact the game play, some not so much. My point is Devs, I think, go into a creating a VN with a set of assumptions. The creator of this VN, in my opinion, assumes players want to see the mc get nasty. He leaves it up to you as to HOW nasty she can get. The vanilla route is quite bland apart from her posing a lot and avoiding sex. So, when I said, “kind of defeats the purpose of the VN.” I should have stipulated *this* VN. But I digest….

Yeah, but I don't think it defeats the purpose in this one either. As you said it "He leaves it up to you as to HOW nasty she can get.", and does so well enough for the most part in my opinion. THAT IS choice. THAT IS what makes these appealing to me at least. Speaking for myself of course. I myself managed to get plenty of action while avoiding a character I didn't like. Minus the latest episode with the club of course, which kind of signals to me it's a about to change.

Could you please ask MA if he maybe wants to fix the last Update, for logical reason?!? If you are on the innocent Path, you are being forced to go out with Fred (even if FMC despise him) and make out with him . How is this possible, if you are on the innocent path? There are no choices to avoid/skip this "Event"! You can skip every other Event, but this you can t?? Thats odd. My personal guess is, this is a bug...or the Dev simply forgot to add a choice.. It would be nice to know what the Dev thinks... Thx in advance!

I will ask him thursday... But I do not think he may change that... If I remember well, some players already asked about it... ^^!
I do not play innocence route (I play full corruption), I cannot say whether the date in nightclub is avoidable or not.
The sex part of this event is avoidable though...

Imagine Jennifer marrying Mike and on the wedding day, during the party, Fred who was invited as godfather, have sex with Jennifer still dressed as a bride, she was slightly drunk. Fred would take her to the kitchen and sex would be inevitable! While her husband Mike talked to the guests outside the house where the party was taking place... But before, Jennifer would have to choose, alcoholic drink or soda, if the player chooses soda, Jennifer could choose to "go to the kitchen with Fred" or refuse. It would be an epic scene for the end of the game, for those who like cheating scenes in games.

I guessed something like that (I did not played the innocence route)... In innocence route, MC is sexually frustrated as well and despite wanting to stay faithfull, alcohol revealed this frustration and she was on the verge to make a mistake...

My first Gameplay is the "Innocence" Path...and it doesn t fit to the whole Situation with Fred...because "my" Jennifer couldn t stand Fred. Why should she go with Fred to the Club in the first place? Makes no sense at all. MA should have leave it to the Players by Choice, going with Fred to the Club or not. This forced situation felt all wrong..so i didn t get it why MA forced this "Date"...but...it is what it is..! I really hope that he will think about it in the next Update and stop forcing content to the Players that they wouldn t want to see.

I guess we all have imagined scenes here and there different from what the dev did. The point that was rightly said above is the game belongs to the dev, hence he tells HIS story. ^^!

I also add that devs may want to involve people (mostly subscribers if they have a Patreon for example) in the development process (through polls about some storyline ideas), many do... But only within the limits they (the devs) define.

You said that you want your MC, that you play, despise her landlord, ok...
But...
Is that actually a feature the dev put in the game ? I mean through some options of choice, lines of text, MC's behavior or any other mean ? I never saw that but as I said, I did not play all routes...
If it is not in the game, I think you must face again content that will not work with your way to play the game...

That said, here you highlight something important... I got the dev point of view : the nightclub date, THIS date, was not only meant for corruption routes but for all of them...
BUT, we are legit to want that a faithfull MC, that almost did a mistake with her landlord because of alcohol, may never want to date him again... Or at least be more cautious with alcohol... I do not know what may be the best choice...
I may ask the dev but I trust him to build something acceptable in this case : he said in his reply above that MC knows now what may happen if she drinks too much alcohol... He showed there he is aware a faithful MC cannot date her landlord again as if nothing happened...
