This is written very confusingly. So is it 14 GMT, or do we subtract 4? Why not just write the time and time zone directly? This only confuses people, as you can see from the comments on Patreon.
Because GMT is a universal time code. 2 pm. at GMT -4 is the same as Eastern Time zone so 2 pm EST
