Hello, wizards and witches!
It’s time to update you on the development of your favorite “Innocent Witches.”
As always we’re starting with an art preview (available in the next post). This time it’s a common room for Gryffindor! While the artwork is still in progress, you can already spot familiar Gryffindor elements. In upcoming updates you can look forward to new scenes and events linked to this location. Perhaps it will become yet another spot for Marcus's "accidental" encounters with Hermione
Now for the main news on what we've been working on recently:
1. We released a Halloween update, after which we closely monitored bug reports. As a result, we rolled out a fix update (fix1), addressing the reported bugs and other minor issues based on feedback we received throughout the week after the release. Full details on the fixes and updates, as well as the updated game clients, are available on our website:

2. We’ve been continuing to work on the next release. At this point, we’ve practically completed the first half of the script and storyline, totaling around 160-170 pages in A4 format. Soon, we’ll dive into the second half, paying close attention to deadlines and optimizing certain sections to stay on schedule. Even though it might seem like a huge amount of text, we hope that with this approach you will enjoy a larger, more content-rich release of "Innocent Witches."
3. We’re also regularly reviewing and updating content from the old storyline to add to the new one. One example is the return of collectible Polaroid photos. These will work similarly to Alexa’s collectible cards—players will be able to find these photos by interacting with specific zones in various locations. For instance, they might appear under a box in the Abandoned wing or in a dusty corner under a bed in the Hufflepuff dorms.
Speaking of Polaroid photos, by popular demand, our animator experimented with turning one of these photos into a “magical photo” version with a moving image. For testing, we chose the (not) Daphne photo, which is given by Helena in Act One as a kind of a test of wits. The result turned out pretty good, and this animation is now in the game and will be included in the next release. You can check it out here:
Pixeldrain In addition, the animations are currently being added to another three photos which will be a part of the next update.
Finally, we haven’t forgotten about the events and additions which were mentioned in previous news but haven’t yet made it into the game for various reasons. Over the next few weeks, we plan to work on them more closely and focus on wrapping them up and adding some of them into the game. Since there’s some time after the latest release that can be used on this, we can work on these tasks while the team works on scriptwriting and art creation.
And now, it’s time for our traditional poll. We’ve released a new patch with a Halloween event, and we’d love to hear your feedback! How did you like the update?
1. I loved it!
2. It was okay, but I was expecting more.
3. I didn’t like it at all!
4. I want to see the result.
