Always has been. From the very start people keep telling them 'kill those fucker who keep shitting tons of needless text'. But unfortunatly those clowns get off to walls of dull text and repesting dull tasks as a way to increase "gameplay" time.
They are assholes and in was obvious just from visiting their discord channel once.

The next update 0.11b adds side quests to 0.11a which came out in April/May. The update after 0.11b will be 0.12a where I suspect we will have interaction with one of the prefects. 0.12a will likely release in Sept/Oct.
