So far there is a couple moments in the game that will focus on that one girl. So if you want to "date" them then you pick that one. If and when they actually reach an ending the girl you pick would be the equivalent to the main woman in your harem.

I got console to work in the latest version -
Open file - game\modules\nondeveloper\main.rpym
and make config.console = True
remove 3 lines -
config.keymap["developer"] = []
config.keymap["console"] = []
_console.console = None
and then start the game.
Voila!!!!
