I supported this game for a long time as a $20 a month donator, but I saw very little in return. My 25+ other Patreons do much better, so they will forever be known as SadCrap to me. They're full of nothing but hot air and bad smells.

I think that depends on what you consider quality content.
The art is great, the basic idea is great, the writing is tedious and boring and full of jokes that don't fire.
And as for that "production plan" I've been following that team since their Witch Trainer mods, the production plan has nothing to do with what they actually do/ did.
Where was it in the plan to spend years, YEARS!!!! on endlessly writing and rewriting basically the same part of the story over and over again and coming up with one impractical control scheme after the other?
You obviously have a right to your opinion, but personally I think anybody who would approach this game with an open mind, look at the development cycle, look at the money the supporters have sunk into it and look at what is actually there right now, would feel disappointed to say the least.

I just can't get over the people posting here how they like the writing, I mean, what do they read for entertainment outside of this? An Encyclopedia?

A writer who won't accept editing is a bad writer. All writers need an editor of some kind. Unless Tobie thinks he's better than Shakespeare (he isn't). His "writing" is killing this game. It's overwrought, tedious and full of cliché.

Asimov, Homer, Melville, Orwell, Pierce Brown, Jonathan Renshaw, Brandon Sanderson and a ton of others.....
It's a game, I don't expect novel like quality, same for humor... it's a lewd game and there's toilet humor you don't find funny. Sarcasm and deadpan and other types of humor don't read across multiple languages as well as fart jokes unfortunately. I love Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but not everyone finds that funny either.
I really question when people have a game, that's actually a game and has puzzle elements that your biggest concern is the writing.
Now.... speed of releases, lack of TnA.... valid arguments for a lewd game.

Well, I had two discussions with Tobie about writing and its quality in the game (One somewhat around mid-march of 2017 and other in January of this year).
First was about the pre-rework version of this game, everyone who was around then remembers quality of its writing. And I had to argue with no effect about why MC name should not be Salazar Riddle Black! Everyone who at least had read the books should how bad it is and in what type of fanfiction this type of name appears.
And the response for my question "If the quality of writing will be improved in future updates" , that I'd got back then from one of the devs was literally "This game is not business, this is our creation (as art). It is important to us to implement our ideas, not to make successful game dev company". This is the core of the all bad things that are in their game, they are a bunch of unprofessionals who don't want to improve and in the same time want to get that sweet sweet money.
The second one was about the re-worked version game. The discussion was about one particular dialogue in the beginning of the game between Dumbledore and Hermione. The main point of that discussion was about Dumbledore being to OOC and misrepresenting to the point that it was not Dumbledore anymore but some old bearded guy with funny clothing. The whole dialogue was dismantled to single phrases, it was shown that "Dumbledore's" reactions was fully OOC, there is no way that Dumbledore that we know will mumble something and back off to defend himself while speaking with Hermione. Some people might argue that it is within writer's rights to portrait characters as he likes, and I agree, but when this representation changes so many character's key characteristics to the point that they are literally could not be placed near to that character's name without strong dissonance. There was even two rewritten version of this dialogue, which one was hugely accepted by local community as far superior to what was in game, but effect was literally zero. Same answer, "I'm the author, I see that way". You can't argue with people like that, it's fruitless and will only consume your time and energy.
P.S. To those people that think that it's OK to do that kind of character rework I will say this.
If writer is not careful instead of Dumbledore(dialogue from above) there will be some old bearded guy, instead of Hagrid (which was harmless, somewhat charming in his own innocent way) there will be some huge perverted imbecile, etc, etc. In the end there will be literally nothing from what made Hogwarts so appealing to many of us. Instead there will be some magical school and some horny people inside it with popular label placed above it, so people will go and buy (donate to) it. But hey, that's OK, there are no problems, everything is fine. After all, Disney is doing the same thing to Star Wars.
You went from Harry Potter to Star Wars... maybe you take things too seriously? If you are linking Disney's rework or adaptations of the Star Wars universe to a lewd game, I really have to question your approach on the topic as a whole.

Because between "action" elements of this game there are tons of bad text that you are ether forced to read or to skip through.
If you are reading it (and the devs intend it to be that way) - you get more then half of your game experience filled with facepalming and/or cursing. I would not call this great time spending. If you are skipping it (and the devs intend it to be this way) - why include this walls of text at all? To make Tobie stroke his ego?
Ether way, quality of text is very important to VNs, especially to that kind of novels with such great amount of it. And if one of the game elements (graphics ) is very good/excellent, it does not mean that we should overlook other bad one.

My approach is simple - both Disney and Sad Crab are milking their respected franchises with little to null respect for what made them great and loved.
If you remove every mention of Harry Potter franchise from Sad Crab game - character names, their looks, etc - the popularity of this game will drop dramatically and devs know this, so they keep the facade, but inside this sweet good looking wrapper paper they carefully place their "art", which is (if you exclude graphics in both cases) is barely passable.

If someone uses the names, he/she should at least try to stick to the character behind these names.
