Well I see this thread is quite active, so I guess the game is active too. How much content is there as for now? Asking because I do not want to play a game with just 2 sex scenes (not implying that this specific game has just 2 scenes, it's an example).

I’d say sex is secondary, it’s quite grindy and progression takes a lot of times, however that wouldn’t be a problem, except that for a game that has been in development for as long as this has there should be more than a dozen sex scenes split across half a dozen characters which is all you get at the moment. Art is gorgeous and gameplay is fun enough though.
It's because the game is a grift. The game is a few of months shy of seven years in development so it's definitely not in an early stage. You could say that it's because sex ain't the main focus, but they've been revamping content for years and without moving the actual development of the game forward at a consistent rate. Play it for the sex scenes and you're going to be disappointed, play it for the writing and you're going to be disappointed, play it for the gameplay and you're going to be disappointed.

Not really. A very short summary of what's gone wrong would be:
The first 3 years were probably the worst for content being released with a single main scene. The project lead at the time ended up getting replaced as a lot of people complained about the confusing Quests and slow release of content.
The replacement lead did a lot better moving the story forward and getting a main scene added roughly every 6 months.
After a couple of years he stepped down due to other commitments. At that stage the plot had been split in 2 as the developers decided the original story needed to be binned. The next lead who came in took over when the old plot was being replaced. And the last couple of years have been focusing more on phasing out the original plot and replacing it with the new.
This hasn't gone down well with some members of this site. As a lot of the lewd scenes for the last couple of years have focused more on side characters rather then the main girls.
To be fair. It'd be hard to add meaningful stuff to the main girls as the work being done concentrates on before you've corrupted any of them.
The next release which is due in the next month should be the release to return the game to a single story. Rather then the messy old plot/new plot that is currently there.
I don't know what that means. However if it means exceptional artwork and an obsession with badly designed puzzles, half finished content, and no forward momentum... then yes. Innocent Witches has plenty of potential but only the artist and JoeBanks actually seem to have any idea as to what they're doing, everyone else working on it is a grifter.
It says "corruption" but it became flat out mind control, aka rape, and is a big turn off for me. It has been quite a while since I played though, so maybe they have changed it meanwhile. If anyone can tell me if it has a better pacing, and lack of mind control, I can give it another chance, because the art was quite nice.

Yeah the writing in this game is weak. They copied a lot from Witch Trainer and they still managed to somehow botch the story.
