i think u need to calm down dude ai is still early and its only a tool. when PCs were becoming a thing people said the same thing its just a new tool that everyone will start using in the next 5-10 years its just early years atm
if only i made more than 20k on patreon, i would definitely hire some professional vo to do some voice over
but what do i know, i don't have that kind of money out of my pcoket
Yeah, I wanna see any game that have total lines: 239882 and voiceovered by actors, but it's unreal
People don't understand how hard it is to develop a game until they actually try doing it

I mean, I agree with some of the complaints here, but that guy with the job stealing complaint is hilarious.
oh yeah AI voice over by Eleven labs is amazing. If you can get a good clean voice clip then it can sound just like the actor.
While I don't really see it ever taking jobs away from actors I do seeing it as a huge boost in the indie games and mod scene. I mean it is so easy to make companions in Skyrim with actual voice acting and as we see here it can really bring life to indie games.
