I just rediscovered a game I had seen when it first came out, and honestly, it's amazing! But it's so disappointing to read some comments like: "too much text," "not enough sex scenes," "the story isn't well written," and so on… People saying that are totally missing the point!

I don't know the developers, but as a pure game, it's a gem. The characters are so well-written, they could almost belong in the original work (though yeah, that would be a bit weird, I admit). They're really likeable, and you just want to get to know them better. The story is fun and enjoyable to explore. And oh man, the game is beautiful! If you know any other games that look this good, let me know, because as a 2D animator, I find it an absolute gem in certain aspects.

For those complaining about the lack of sex scenes, you need to understand that this game was never meant for that. When it was released, this kind of content wasn't as widespread, so a game purely focused on porn wouldn't have been possible. Yes, there’s a lot of text, but in real life, you don’t spend all your time hooking up… If you’re just looking for porn, there are other sites for that!

As for the complaints about the lack of updates or them being "too easy," keep in mind that this is probably not the developers' main project. So, props to them for their hard work, and instead of insulting them and their work, be patient.

I can't figure out if this is a fake account or not, your first post is to come to this developers defense for what tons of fans, earlier patreons, and maybe even current patreons have of critique for this project. And these people, earlier fans of the game or still fans, in their frustration try to come to some place where they have the option to express themself without getting a ban.... which they will, if they go to the developers discord channel and express their frustration there instead.
- Before we get into things, I was(and still am a fan of the project). And also a former patreon, and I still from time to time come and pay for their newest update to play it to enjoy the artwork and the mechanics that this game have which they do really well. I was also there before they changed their old project, a modded game of Akabur into this new IW project, so yeah you can call me oldschool, because I probably am.

The real complain from fans from my perspective, is not even centered directly around "to little sex scenes" Its the general lack of content with the main characters that is the issue. In which these developers are fantastic if not masters of, and that is delaying the 'real content' that most fans are craving for.
- This project is over 8 years old, fucking 8 years mate. The amount of content, both story, and scenes are a fucking disgrace compared to the time they have been developing the game.
An example is Hermione, perhaps the most attractive girl people want to see have some action. You have a handjob, a pussy fingering scene, a bit of lesbian'ish action and some flashing of bikini and tits if you get her drunk. Their main F**... girl, 8 years... and this is it? ...

- Not to mention the amount of money sad_crab bring in each month which is over 20.000$ and probably way higher. It just don't match the amount of playable game content they deliver... not by a longshot.
Talking about money, its fun that right now their main artist 'Siserg' have started developing his own game(another project) and he lost his normal job and is complaining about not having enough income. Here it strikes me VERY ODD that it appears their main artist is apparently not fully on the payroll on their team? so he have money issues when sad_crab is taking in over 20.000$, like wtf is going on. Get him on the god damn payroll, damn greedy bastards.

You go around doing quest and are lucky to see the girls in swimming suit for half of their game. Which is precisely what the game had 4 years ago. Not to mention they have removed several minigames for now which just make the game feels like it have even way less content then before, good stuff right there :coffee:.. or not!

All in all a disgrace of a development process sad_crab have compared to what they bring in monthley.

Well written! The main selling point is the outstanding art by siserg.
one mistake is the management of the project.
There were three storywriters. the story is confusing. Imvois rules do not allow you to perform sexual acts directly.
so you're left scrambling around until you can somehow get round the rules. That's why you can't make any progress with the sex scenes. the dark and light path has also been abandoned? in my opinion, the disappearance of the waifu is just a bad plot point that drags everything out.
i have the feeling that sad crab always wants to realise new ideas and ignores time management in the process. it's the company's first game. you don't have to implement every idea by hook or by crook. Just finish developing the game. you can produce a successor with more features. This will put off many potential customers if you don't manage to finish developing a game in 8 years.
Just read this thread and u will see, that most people want to see sex scenes (= vaginal/anal penetration) with the prefects.

Haha, don’t worry, I’m not a fake account or sponsored by them! But yeah, based on what you're saying, it’s hard not to feel disappointed… It’s such a shame to see a project with so much potential get dropped. Let’s hope they come back strong with it!

Most of my posts are in this thread - I keep subbed to this thread to keep an eye out for updates and the constant notifications of new complaints does drawn me in now & again.

I grab free updates now (no longer a patreon) due to the time its taking but at the same time comon, its a pron game you can get for free (and some choose to pay)... I don't understand the hostility that seems to exist out there in that context.

This game is trying to be an actual game, not just a click click VN & I like that (i also like the other style but there is a LARGE saturation of games like that).

As far as I am aware this is not a professional studio(or wasnt). isnt this is their first project so they are learning/making mistakes and probably having to rework those mistakes as they go all while releasing live playable versions of that game as it evolves (I may be wrong but over the last 12 months seems focused on a shift to live 2d models to improve the animation quality from a slideshow?).

The income would be an awsome income for 1 person but isnt this a team? How much is actually there for the game when you take that $20,000, take away any company/business tax, divide it by the number of the team & those people then pay income tax on those amounts? I mean for context didn't concord take 8 years and $400 million & this game has a higher player base :ROFLMAO:

I am green with envy that I didnt think of making a scam game like this back when the HP hype was big and just retire at 25...

i'd say 3 persons (+ artist not getting as much as others) so if atfer patreon cut and taxes they still get nice sum.
